The majority of my drawings I worked in the Nintendo 3DS game, Disney Art Academy. But some drawings are from Pokémon Art Academy too. But yeah for this one, Disney Art Academy. I prefer this game because it have 3 art layers, and more art tools in contrast to Pokémon Art Academy. ^^

Xp If there's one Splatoon character I prefer to see drawn it's Agent 3. I love to see the different variations of him/her. I also love the different story ideas people have. I have my own version of "Agent 3." XD

I see, I better make note of that. ^^ Though sometime I have a hard time seeing the colors in a tiny 3DS, having the picture projected on the big screen will help see the errors in the colouring. I wanna get the computer art software someday like Photoshop. XD I can agree with ya with different variations of Agent 3, very interesting indeed. Ah, what is your version of Agent 3 about?
If you're familiar in digital art; Disney Art Academy (or any art academy game, but I say DAA is easier in my opinion) should be very easy to understand. The game teaches you how to draw Disney characters such as Olaf, Mike from Monster University, etc., how to do art techniques, etc. However, doing art lessons there can be extremely boring. I barely done the lessons, and I often taught myself how to do art.

That is completely understandable. Even the Wii U game-pad isn't that big to draw on, much less on the 3DS. Projecting it on the screen must be very useful. (I prefer drawing on paper, definitely. I have a lot more freedom of where I wish to have the drawing and how big it can be.) I color my drawings on the computer and, first, draw them out traditionally. Mmh, perhaps I will invest in Disney Art Academy, if that's the case. Yeah, I'm self-taught as well and I don't really pay attention to art tutorials, only reference. Xp
Many versions of Agent 3 have the character either really despise Octolings (for obvious reasons) or just want to fight the Octarians...just because. (I've read fan-fictions with these plots, plenty of them.) Also, the character is normally aged as a teenager. With my "Agent 3," she actually respects and loves the Octarian race, her best friend WAS an Octoling, and she is a young adult (age 25). I have her biography/background all written down...somewhere that I need to find it. Xp There's a lot more to her background/story than just "being Agent 3." X'D That's not necessarily the focus of her story. It's about a young adult who struggles to find a normal life of peace and tranquility, while also trying to save her friends from the same fate as her former Octoling friend. My character's motive for becoming Agent 3, despite liking Octarians, is not that straight-forward like most plots. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I made her reasoning something to really think about, at least tried to make it that way.

You can try out Disney Art Academy demo in eShop to see if you like it. If you download that demo, go to Olaf Art Lesson and familiarize yourself with some art tools they provided (if I remember from the top of my head, the lesson only provide you with 3 art-layers, pen outline, and markers).
Inklings normally are around 14 years old or above, so I could assume your Agent 3 are around that age or older.
Well, I don't have a lot of OCs. I have one OC, Kichona (you may have seen her many times in my drawings, she's that female blue Inkling). She's kinda my persona, and she is about 40% based on the actual me. Basically anyway, she's just a very ordinary squid. Not too special, nor too plain. I have one male OC Inkling, Garnet. He was raised in Octovalley for unknown reasons, and often portray as arrogant, cocky, and self-centre Inkling. I'm also have my own version of Agent 3, but I'll have to think about her overall biography.

Every drawing I, well, draw starts out traditional, with pencil and paper. I transfer my drawings onto the computer. I only outline and color those drawings online. That's my process. So, all my drawing are technically traditional, at least start out that way. Anyhow, you are not colorblind. The screen is just really...not big. XD
I haven't turned on my Wii U in forever, and I don't think I will anytime soon. I'm still really caught with writing and schoolwork, and, of course, procrastination. X'3 But I will see if I have time to test out that demo. I'm not interested in drawing pictures of Olaf. I honestly hate that movie with a burning-cold passion. Xp
That's certainly true. The Inklings in-game are all teenagers ages 13 to 16, somewhere around there. Well, except Cap'n Cuttlefish, who's like, I don't know, over seventy years old if he fought a long time in the Great Turf War (of a Thousand Years Ago). Isn't it funny that all of these squids are kids fighting in playful wars, and Agent 3 is a squid kid fighting against an entire race in order to save the Inkling world? What I'm trying to get at is, why is it always teens or kids doing the things adults should be doing? X'D I just find it really silly, hence why I made my Agent 3 an adult. It just...makes more sense, I guess. XD Ah, my story is still in progress. I'm not finished writing it yet. In fact, I'm thinking of "redoing" it. She does meet with many conflicts. I've seen drawings of Kichona before, yes. I love the design of her tentacle hair. Very cool. ^^ My character, Agent 3, is kind of based on me. Well, the aspect that she doesn't care for herself and only lives to protect and serve others. (Her and I degrade ourselves often.) She's also not very ordinary. Again, she longs to have a normal, ordinary, peaceful life, one where she would never have to worry about risking others lives and her own, one where she did not have such great responsibility for others deaths, etc. Do you have a biography on Kichona? I'd like to learn more myself. Is Garnet an Octoling then? Does he have a connection to Kichona? Nearly all of my characters are connected, story-wise, in some way. I love doing that. Ooo! Your version of Agent 3? That's got to be awesome! I hope you come up with something that you would enjoy.

Oh that's a very interesting approach, doing traditional sketch and then outline digitally. Cool! ^^ My father is a bit colour-blind (like couldn't differentiate between blue and purple) I thought it might effect my vision a bit genetically. But I'm glad I'm really not colourblind. XD
Procrastination is totally cool, it happens to everyone. lol Hopefully you can to play the Wii U again after school is over. The problem playing the DAA demo are that it only provides you Mickey Mouse('s head) and Olaf art lesson. Mickey Mouse's Head is basically a children-book, just trace and colour over them. Olaf is similar (just a bit complex due to his body shape), but provide you more tools to experiment. I only play the demo so I can experiment the tool difference between two 3DS art academy, I'm glad I did. ^^
Yup, but Inklings have to be at least 14 years old or older because at that age, are old enough to change between forms at will. Cap'n Cuttlefish are about 100+ years of age I believe according to wiki.
Haha, that have been in my mind sometime. He even have his granddaughters, who both have a very important and successful career as Squid Sisters, to become Agents to save the entire Inkopolis (turns out they're totally useless anyway rofl). A few conclusions I come up with is due to the fact that no one believe the "creepy old dude" (which the game actually calls him lol). Which results the captain to be very desperate to hire anyone to save the Zapfish. (...And also to attract bigger audience, since not many players would enjoy playing an adult squid in such a colourful game.) XD

Thank you! I may add a bit of redesign for Kichona in Splatoon 2 since it will take 2 years later. ^^ I kinda have a biography of her but it's very short and brief. It's posted in my friend's comic art contest (Check in the comment section: miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AY… ) (btw in her Personality section: it's suppose to "...opens up like a clam, not clamp." Ack. XD).
I really should do the profile of her. XD Garnet is actually an Inkling. They meet sometime after the Great Zapfish was rescued. They have very complicated relationship, at times they are kinda friends but other times they're not. Mostly a fact that Garnet is an anti-social guy. I'm also thinking about doing a comic of them when I reach 1000+ Followers on Miiverse. They're not connected, they simple cross path with each other. But I can see why being connected is important, it leave surprise to the viewers to what more than meets the eye. ^^ Thank you! Agent 3 will be a very interesting character to write about.

It's a longer process than it sounds. My brain is normally dead by the end of it. X'D I am not color-blind, luckily. I love looking at colors. ^^ That makes me wonder, can color-blindness be genetic? It's good that you're not color blind, definitely. I was going to make one of my Inkling characters color blind, but instead I decided to make her completely blind. Can't exactly play any ink battles like that. X'3

Really? 100+ years old? Well, I guess that makes sense, and squids aren't exactly human so their biology isn't that of our own. I don't pay attention to the lore written on wikis. I come up with my own theories and/or conclusions. Xp
I know, right? XD The Squid Sisters may be terrific singers, but they make lousy agents. "Creepy old dude." I remember when the game first told me that when I first played it. XD My Agent 3 was, at first, skeptical with Cap'n Cuttlefish as well. But she opened up to the idea with a sense of duty, I guess. She thought she could break up the war/rivalry between the two races. Yet, in spite of her efforts, she failed, and instead lost one of her friends due to fighting the Octarians off. In my story, Inklings still discriminate over Octolings. This is why she quit being Agent 3. And despite the game being really colorful and fun I made my character's story rather dark.
I'd rather you wait to read the redo version of it. I'm a little embarrassed with what I wrote previously. ^^' Ah, well, access now granted for the docs. XD That's the idea, but later in her story she comes across as selfish, at least to herself, not to others still. Some Miiverse friends and I did a pretty cool roleplay that sort of explains why. That's also written down in Google Docs. She has slight anxiety, crippling depression (that's an actual disorder), and possibly/most likely post-traumatic stress disorder. Thanks! I worked hard coming up with it. ^^
I might redesign my Agent 3 as well. Have I showed you what she looks like yet? I read Kichona's biography. I like how simplistic it is. Nothing more than a squid-kid lookin' for some fun and action. XD I hope to learn more of her someday. Perhaps you will write her a full biography?

Ah, be sure to take breaks in your drawing process! lol XD There's always a possibility colour-blindness can be genetic, but at least most cases no. Me, and my two other siblings don't have colour blindness. That reminds me, I think you read SaccharoKirby's Splatoon comic right? One of her OC Inkling, Rose have color blindness and often plays Turf War quite poorly and views herself negatively. I love her stories, they're so unique. ^^ Total blindness might work, but it's hard not able to do anything at all if your OC can't see. Perhaps you can try deaf?
The tutorials in the demo are very much for beginners. To make tutorial fun in my way, I usually do is amplify their appearance in a most horrific way possible instead of simply tracing Disney characters. XD Haha, but have fun with the demo!
That's true, Cap'n Cuttlefish can still walk around and still have a "razor sharp gaze" despite being extremely old. I wonder how long Inklings can live for. :0 That's very interesting, I guess most of her fighting effort would go to waste if things didn't turn out like it was expected. Discrimination is such an interesting concept, the world is always wrong. I love when stories are dark, it gives character more depth and many realistic challenge to overcome. If it's all sunshine and no consequences in a story, characters can just be overcome anything with the power of friendship, plot armour, and absolutely no sacrifice happening in war. lol

Yup, that means Agent 3's real name is Sapphire C. Lake. Her design and the colours are so pretty! I like how you made her hair also spiky on her tentacles. 
It's alright, I was vague. I'm not entirely flesh out in their characters, but hopefully they will soon. But ever since I done role-play with one of my friend, their personality are mostly flesh out. Though there are so many things I wanted to change so doing a full biography can help clear things out. I'll do after I finish all of my art requests, and sometime before or after the Splatoon comic.
Mostly likely it will end in close friendship. Kichona may have a bit of romantic interest in Garnet, but doesn't explicitly show it and not sure how to express them (like me, I'm straight but I really don't do kisses and I can't envision myself having a boyfriend. XD) So Kichona is totally okay being friends with Garnet. Garnet's concept of love (not just romantic) are messed-up since he experience ton of rejection in the past (Dismissive-Avoidant Attachment). The problem is how can I make both of them seem comfortable in each other presence? I have many things to think about.

I know SaccharoKirby. I like her comics as well. However, her attitude is somewhat annoying to me. I am not honestly sure as to why, but she, herself, kind of rubs me the wrong way. She reminds me of some other popular artists/Youtubers that act a lot like her to their watchers/subscribers. They act negatively towards people who criticize their works and respond to them to get a "comeback," yet they ignore all of the kind comments from the people who actually care for their works. I don't like that. I watch her for her art, not for herself. I realize these "popular" online people are busy, but they have the time to type witty comeback comments whenever the chance presents itself? The least they could do is ignore the negative comments and appreciate the positive ones. Though SaccharoKirby has been getting better over time with this, so I'm not as mad at her as I was a while ago. I like her stories. They're simple, a little too simple for my tastes, but they certainly have SO much thought and heart put into them. It really shows! ("Rainmaker" almost made me cry, and I don't cry for fiction of any sort, so kudos on her! ^^) I'm a bigger fan of few grand conflicts rather than many tiny ones, which is what I get from her stories. If she actually typed them up I would love them a lot more. Her stories sound like they would be better on paper as words. But that's just me. XD She's an amazing artist, no doubt! (And Rose is amazing as well. X'3) I know of Rose's colorblindness, though I barely knew that about a month ago. Again, I was absent from DeviantArt for a while. X'p The character is completely blind because of a life-threatening accident she was in. That "accident" was her fault, and she paid the price for it with her eyesight. I have a reason fro making her blind, is what I'm trying to say. I like making stories where the character's aren't all "good" and "smart." Like human beings, we all make mistakes, mistakes that we will all regret later on in life, or sooner. Whatever happens to us, we are, at least, partially to blame for it. My character lost her eyesight by "making a mistake" that she would ignore. You know what I mean? X'D I would rather not make her deaf; it adds less conflict AND consequences for her. All mistakes have consequences, so we can learn from them.
I'll see that I'll have fun with it. Though I've been dying to play Splatoon. I was very hardcore then, before my great absence/depression. I think I got rusty in both art and gaming. X'3
The gaming theorists should figure that out. XD Discrimination is something that is relevant today. (Which is why I loved that Disney's Zootopia addressed it.) I redid Sapphire's entire biography, including changing up her middle name. The Google Doc is the redone, newer version. I changed her age because her being older made more sense in my plot-timeline. I'm sure you will think of something cool! Kichona is a sort of daredevil, right? Now there's something to work off of. (;
My characters have been fleshed out as well from roleplays. XD Would you like to read this one roleplay Sapphire and my Miverse buddies' characters were in? They told me to save it and correct it grammatically, which I did. Xp I'll be looking forward to seeing a newer biography. You have a Splatoon comic? Cool! What's it about? That's definitely a lot to think about. (I'm heterosexual as well but I despise real-life romantic relationships. I don't mind fictional ones, but most of my characters also hate romantic relationships.) A close friendship is not a bad choice in my opinion. And Garnet sounds like a really interesting character. XD
(Heh, me neither. I love Splatoon and it's the reason I met so many nice people/friends like you. Like I said, I played competitively, reaching S+ twice in two accounts. XD I also believe in the "Genocide Theory." That theory is what had me create Sapphire in the first place. It started out similar to the theory and was based heavily upon, but I dove in deeper, slowly building up my own story with my own plot. And if there are grammatical mistakes here please excuse them. I wrote so much that I can't see anything anymore. XD)

I see, I even enjoy her Rainmaker comic more than TamarinFrog’s comic. Doesn’t matter how pretty art is, it’s the story that counts most. I thought it would be some cliché romance comic when I first read it, but oh boy was I wrong. I’m glad I still read it despite that. XD Which part in Rainmaker did it make you cried – Orange’s departure? ^^ If there’s the story in written-form, I’ll be interested in that too. It gives us better description what the character thinks, and all that stuff. Lol Haha, you have some catching to do during your absence. I guess it’s a common thing when folks like SaccharoKirby become famous and becoming quite selfish like you said. I don’t know her personal life much and her interaction with her fan so I could be entirely wrong. But her problems could result from college stress, financial problem, lack of commissions, severely lack of Views/Comments/Favourites recently (like her Rainmaker’s views are usually like 15,000 Views but her recent ones are only 1000 – 2000 Views…that is honestly very discouraging.
Ah, I thought she was born blind. Sorry for my assumption. XD I would feel really bad for that character even if was her mistake (unless it’s something that is totally destructive she deserve :>). From full-eyesight to no eye sight at all is like moving into a completely hopeless culture. She couldn’t do anything for herself anymore, and should completely depend on her friends or family to help her. Very vulnerable as all she sees is total and empty darkness, does she have any reason to live like this? Lol I’m thinking too much, I’ll considered it more when there’s a biography about your blind character. ^^ I think I understand by ““making a mistake” that she would ignore”, she could have prevented the damage to herself if she would have listen?

Yup Kichona is a daredevil, there’s no reason for her to be shy in splat battles (though I could assume for most shy Inklings). She also dons her Gas Mask to give her overall appearance frightening and hunts down opponent like a vicious predator with a CARBON ROLLER. Smack! XD
Sure, I would like to see the role-play you guys have. J Gimme! Lol My Splatoon comic style will be similar to Stat; each panel will be sketchy, black-and-white and easier to do. The story will be basic so it’ll be how Kichona first time meeting Garnet in Turf War. Since there will be quite a lot of action scenes happening, there will be less dialogues so their gestures and movements will talk to the viewers. Oh boy doing the action poses will be painful, hopefully I’ll get each pose decently right.

I nearly teared up when Blue was telling Orange about how love hurts, but that should not stop them from loving each other all the same. Although I did nearly cry, I really didn't, though it did come close. SaccharoKirby, I believe, falls under that trap most famous online people get when they gain popularity. They think they can treat their viewers however they please, when in reality, without those viewers they wouldn't be where they are today. All these artists, Youtubers, etc. would never have been so successful if it weren't for these people, and that should show in their attitudes. We are at the mercy of the viewer, and the viewers should be treated as such. Now there is nothing wrong with defending yourself, but you can certainly do that without being offensive, yourself. While I understand the troubles and stress she goes through, from reading her journal entries, that still does not give anyone an excuse to pour out all of their anger and frustrations to people who have had nothing to do with these angers and frustrations. They are not to blame for them and people should learn to control their anger. And I would argue that she is better off compared to most aspiring artists nowadays. She still gets thousands of views on nearly all of her work, and that's something she should be proud of, not discouraged, even if it is fewer than what she had previously. Heck, I'd love to get that many views, if I could. (Though I honestly don't care about that anymore, but I used to.) People care for what she has to offer, clearly, and that alone she should be proud of. She is better off without a doubt. If I were in her position, I would attempt to suck it up, without being angered at other people. And I would totally help her out financially by asking for a commission if I had the money. I wouldn't hesitate. If she needs help, then I will help her out when I have the chance. If she really does respond to people, she should respond more often. Technically these comments don't go away, even after a while. They stay there, until you click on that "X" on the top left-hand corner. I realize it is practically impossible to respond to everything, I understand that. But one should at least try to not make others feel like they are being ignored.
That's quite alright. Everybody makes assumptions every now and then. Everyone deserves the consequences that come to them from their actions. Consequences can be good or they can be bad. Point is, we all have to face them, one way or another. My character has to learn that in one fell swoop, everything she knows can and will be taken away from her, if she chooses to ignore the outcomes. People choose their fates, they don't come because it is "fate." People control fate, not the other way around. She has a reason, because she chose to not listen to reason. I do have a biography on her somewhere, but it's most likely not complete and will have to be found deep within my documents. Xp If she listened to reason, she would have not been blind. If she had accepted the help people were willing to give to her, she would not have been in that accident.

I highly agree that no matter what, love can also hurt you either way. *hands you a handkerchief* ^^ I’m starting to agree with your perspective, I seen like SaccharoKirby’s two respond to people’s comment seem a bit aggressive, particularly those who seem to be a long-time fan of her work (like in Rose (as a grown-up) drawing), and her old Splatoon work “Inkling Girl (a drawing of Orange, Goldy, and Rose)”). They’re not insults, but I felt she could have went to a kinder approach. It definitely couldn’t hurt either to say a simple ‘thank you’ to many people who supported her drawings. I wouldn’t comment on her drawings because it would be pointless since she won’t reply (though I could always assume she read my comment, but I don’t see any proof). I wish there were some sort of ‘like’ or ‘Yeah’ button in DA if replying to people’s comments are too much work. Lol For now, we’ll just “watch for her art and not for herself” as you said.
Hm from my understanding, people can control their “fate” is by deciding their decision so it will determine their outcome (I’m not sure if I’m saying it right. XD). The fate topic can be a confusing topic. XD Like take an example from Oedipus; no matter how much Oedipus tried so desperately to avoid the prophecy, he somehow ended up murdered his own father and sleep with his mother. So in conclusion, Oedipus couldn’t control his fate. But everything probably could have been avoided if his mother should have kill his son in the first place…except she’s too weak to do it. Well anyway, I guess it depends on the story whether fate controls people, or people can control and decide their fate. I wonder, other than your character learn from her mistakes and accept her consequence, what will she do from now on now she is completely blind? ^^
Haha, it’s been a while I watch some game theory. (A greatest film, such amazing characters. Oh have you seen the deleted scenes when the collar around the predator’s neck could have added to the final version of the movie? Ah, that was the word I was looking for. Aggressive. Yeah, perhaps “intentionally rude” was not the correct thing to describe SaccharoKirby’s comments. I’m certain she doesn’t mean what she says all the time, but she could most definitely word things a lot better, in a more kind way. My thoughts exactly. I don’t comment of any of her work nor do I really favorite anything, simply because I know she would never respond and all of her drawings are so great that would just be spamming her with favorite notifications, at that’s not really fun to sit through, I would think. A “Yeah” feature would certainly make things a lot more simple here in DA. It would show my appreciation for someone’s works without the need to having to fav-bomb them or having to comment on their works.
Everybody has a choice in nearly all matters concerning themselves, even though it may seem that everything is out of their control. Fate is a confusing topic because people do not normally get the idea of what “fate” really is, and what it represents in real life or plotlines. In terms of fiction, fate honestly depends on how the story is being told, if there is a quote-unquote “prophecy” or not. It’s all really subjective. My blind character is actually doing pretty well for herself. Using the power of advanced technology (Splatoon takes place in the distant future with a rising in technological advancements), she was eventually able to start skateboarding again. Skateboarding was a fun hobby she always liked to do. She’s pretty good at what she does, even blind, though now not as good. She tried to participate in Turf Wars. Luckily for her, she has excellent reflexes and hearing, so that’s an advantage, at least. (She cannot participate in Ranked battles, and in Turf Wars she often makes her team lose for being handicapped.)

I really wish I had the motivation to do anything right now, but I don’t. ;.; I’ll think about the art requests, but the people on both Miiverse and dA are pretty impatient when it comes to the “anticipated date” the drawing is supposed to be finished. (Eh, I don’t think I’ll ever play my Wii U again, or be on Miiverse, for that matter. I reached S+ through skill, not necessarily luck. My team really pushed it and so did I. We all played our roles nicely and efficiently. I normally play offense or objective, while my teammates play either support or defense. Thank you, Nintendo, or whoever, for adding those noises. Yeah, perhaps she would act less aggressive and say some small 'thank you' when one share great passion in her work. When I was re-reading her comics, I actually saw you comment here and there but yeah, it has been quite some time and things change. lol I think Favourites are already spams to her since hundreds of them fill up her notifications already. Actually to be honest, I tend to treat "Favourites" like "Yeah" because they both show our appreciation for someone else work without needing to comment, and they appear in our notification. Of course, the big difference is notification Favourites doesn't go away unless your click on an 'x'.
Ah true, fate really does depend. I'm glad your blind character is doing fine at least, she's able to do something and not like 100% completely vulnerable. ^^ So I guess with technology support, it enhances other senses to "feel" her surroundings and to predict people's movement. This reminds me of Toph from Avatar The Last Airbender; who is blind too, and rely on hearing and reflexes to fight. (That's true, she still gotta see which ink colors is which. Poor girl...)
I watched a few Game Theories, but my favourite one is probably Zelda the Majora's Mask theory ("Is Link Dead in Majora's Mask?"). It's my favourite because Majora's Mask is one of my favourite game of all time, and gives us in depth what Link really been through in regret and acceptance after he defeated Ganon in Ocarina of Time. lol Happy Ending is...the enlightenment, dreams, and stuff I guess haha XD

I'm at the part when Sapphire and Xana meet-up together in Olivia's cafe. I didn't expect the role-play to be this dark, and realistic too XD such as when the taxi is acting lustful and perverted toward the girls (offering drinks, etc.), and Sapphire tries to hold a stoic figure for the sake of her friends on the outside but really broken on the inside. I like when Nightmare brought up about Olivia's Cafe, which is the name of her long lost friend. As Sapphire cried and mumble 'sorry' many many times, I can already tell she been through so much guilt, despair, and regret.
Don't do art requests in DA (especially random people), people act very immature and harsher here than on Miiverse. I have been in Miiverse for 1.5 year and I rarely approach anybody who is you know, bad people. But in DA, I already met three or four are complete a**hole. Sorry, but it's the best adjective to describe them.
Being asexual sounds pretty cool. ^^ But I'm curious, have you (or any asexual) ever wonder what is like being attracted to someone (romantic and/or sexually)? Or love is just "eww gross", not for me! XD I actually have one of my family member who is homosexual (just found out last year). It surprised me (but it makes sense now why he doesn't have a wife yet. He has a dog to cope solitude and loneliness as he lives alone), but I obviously accept him who he is.

It does not take that long to write “Thank you.” In fact, let me write it again. “Thank you.” Boom. That took, like, less than five seconds. Xp Oh yeah, I used to comment to her, back when I first got into dA. Back then I thought you had to actually comment just to say that you liked something. XD I wish I could treat Favorites like “Yeahs,” but I guess I do treat tem more like spams. (Considering I normally get favorites on WRITTEN stories literally about thirty seconds after I’ve uploaded it. These people are the equivalent of “Yeah-bombers,” which I am no fan of.) In Miiverse, not all notifications reach you, I’ve noticed. Some skip the names of people who followed you until a day after they’ve really done so. Or is that just my Miiverse account being stupid?
Well, of course. My character would be boring to just sit around because of a physical disability. She’s got to do something productive, something she likes. XD She’s actually quite cocky and stubborn, so it makes sense that she would still like to skateboard even though now she can’t do it as well as she did before the accident. She jokingly said, “Hah! I’m so good at this, I can do it with my eyes closed!” Look at her now, *derp.* X3 Yeah, that’s the kind of technology I was going for, I guess. I mean, we are so close to that kind of technology that it’s kind of scary. Heh, I was actually thinking of Toph when writing this character, but she’s not inspired off of her. My character’s reflexes are astounding, luckily for her. Sadly, Sapphire hasn’t come across her lost cousin yet so she currently doesn’t have that much supportive help with her disability. (She can only guess what color she’s feeling. Luckily, in-game, you can’t hurt your own team with your own ink color, so she can put two-and-two together and battle that way. Still, poor girl, indeed. X’3)
To be honest, I didn’t really like that Game Theory, because that was during a time when MatPat didn’t use the full knowledge of Hyrule Historia. And if there is one thing I know well, it’s my Zelda lore/games. Xp Link cannot be dead at the age that he is in Majora’s Mask because of one key fact on the Zelda franchise: the Link in both Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time are the SAME person. And THIS Link in these games is the Hero’s Shade. And who is the Hero’s Shade? The direct, BLOOD descendant of the Link in Twilight Princess. The Hero’s Shade is a Stalfos, and Stalfos, according to Zelda lore, only become as such when an ADULT enters the woods and either gets killed or becomes “lost.” Meaning, that the Link in Majora’s Mask does not die in those woods, or in Termina, for that matter, because in order for him to have become the Hero’s Shade in Twilight Princess (which takes place CENTURIES after Majora’s Mask), he would have to have died as an ADULT, not a child/teen like we see in Majora’s Mask. He would have had to get married and have children for him to ever be an ancestor of the Link in Twilight Princess. Basically, that theory was just a theory...a Game Theory! And nothing else. X3 *takes a deep breath* Sorry. But this is why I like both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess more than any other Zelda game, because they are so connected in Hyrule’s History. Oops, I rambled again. XD
If I have Ink Saver Sub then I can toss at least three Burst Bombs at a time before having to refill again. Also, if you have excellent accuracy and quite a few Damage Ups, then you would only have to use two in order to splat an enemy (with no Defense Up, that is). My imagination can get out of control when it wants to, heh. I guess this is just one of those moments. XD I hardly ever made grammatical mistakes in my posts, luckily, or I’d go insane. Xp
Oh, yeah, that taxi driver character. My roleplay friends and I agreed that we needed some excuse to make the day go faster so night would come to progress the story. They turned to me to think of something, so there you go. If you went past that part then you should know what it led up to. I realize that it’s too dark now, but wait until you get towards the end. Believe me, this is NOTHING compared to the ending. X’D (Also, I purposely made Nightmare a deranged, lustful psychopath. Just because. Xp In the first roleplay, it is explained why, but that’s even longer than this one.) At least I accomplished what I intended to..? X3
That I have learned without experience, luckily for me. I have only met one or two a-holes on dA that had really gotten on my nerves. But I eventually got over them and just forgot about it all. I do not appreciate cursing as a form of speech, but that is alright. ^^ Really? Huh, I wouldn’t mind taking your request, as long as you don’t complain “Where’s the drawing? I’ve been waiting, like, forever!” Though I’m positive you won’t be like those people. X’D I have been under too much stress, pressure, anxiety, depression, etc. to finish a drawing in, like, a day or two, or even a week.
Being asexual is a lot simpler than it sounds. Just don’t be attracted to either the opposite sex nor the same sex, or any sexual being, really. I find love as a common means to simply “like a person romantically,” and that’s it. I’m not too fond of it sexually, because it can lead to some pretty messed up, sinful things, if taken to an extreme. I want to avoid those sinful things. I’m willing to give up my fertility to preserve my virginity, if that makes any sense. I have only had interest in one guy in my entire life, and that was just an infatuation that quickly died down in nothing. I do wonder what it’s like to be in a romantic relationship, though whenever I ask people about it I hear nothing but drama or false love. That family member must be an amazing person if he’s related to you. X3
(Actually, when I say I might never be on my Wii U or Miiverse again, I mean “I will never use those again.” I’m done. Or, at least, I will be done, soon, anyway. I just...I have my reasons,. And most of those involve what happened to me that got me really depressed. There are just a few friends that I was once considered family on Miiverse that I just can’t face again. I know they’ll be worried when they realize I’m not there but…*sighs* Sorry...I...made some time in the far future, when I have finally moved on from all of this, we can play together. I wonder who Link hooked up with...Malon? idk XD I guess Navi's departure must have left a BIG impact on Link up to his adulthood since he probably went to the Lost Woods again, and turned into a Stalfos/Hero's Shade (if Link still couldn't find Navi at all I assume, and "not able to pass on the teachings to those who came after him"). Something like that, it's unfortunately we still don't really know what Link is really feeling or thinking in each game. It's okay, Zelda games is such an interesting series after. You can ramble more if ya want!

If you haven't see your Miiverse friends for a while (you can go to Miiverse through your computer/iPhone, doesn't alway shave to be on the Wii U), it couldn't hurt to say a small "hello", they would be overjoy to see you. ^^ I know again it won't reduce your depression, but they'll help you brighten your day a bit, hopefully. Honestly, responding to every single comment is rather time-consuming, but I appreciate responding to nice comments nonetheless. (Only had one or two rude ones in all my time on dA.) But I explained in a previous journal entry that I wouldn’t be able to respond to everything, or at the very least not be able to respond right away. At the time, I was rather busy. Now, currently, I am nothing but busy, and stressed, still. Yeah, not a big fan of yeah-bombers...Half the time all they want is for someone to look at their profile page just because they “yeahed” your post. I don’t fall for that, because half the time (especially on dA) it’s a scam of some sort. Llama badges are something similar. I had not checked Miiverse in forever, and now I’ll most likely never know what notifications I got there, unless I have the gall to check. I have not kept track of the number of followers I have there. I believe it was somewhere around 130. You’re right, I could always check.
I’ve actually always wondered what it would be like to be in a wheelchair, but I can imagine it wouldn’t be very fun. My character (I’ll just call her “Navy,” because that’s her name XD) was originally going to end up in a wheelchair, but I changed it up so instead she would become blind. In a universe like Splatoon, where you essentially need your sense of sight to do anything, I thought it would be more impacting on her. (Have you ever tried playing Splatoon with only the Wii U Gamepad, and your television turned off? I have, and it’s not easy. XD) Really? That’s so cool for the people who are blind. That’s using technology for good. ^^ Strong-willed? I’d go more along the lines of “stubborn” and “persistent,” in a good way. X3 She can be quite cocky, even after being struck blind. Of course she’s kind of *derp.* I mean, she’s blind. There is bound to be some sort of clumsiness. XD Avatar: The Last Airbender? Heck yes. I love the idea of “bending natural elements to your will” quite fascinating, in general terms. The fact that they created an entire animated, anime-styled series on it is just great. Navy was raised by her father, the founder of many skating parks all around Inkopolis, including Blackbelly Skatepark. She learned plenty of military-style moves from him, and, yes, he was in the military at some point, the Great Turf War at the end of its days. “I’m your teammate, you idiot!” XD I can imagine a scenario like that. Poor Navy.
People suspect that Link did end up marrying Malon, as she is the most likely choice. Zelda is too simple, though it would explain why all variations of Link are chosen by the goddesses (because of royal descent/bloodline..?). I actually like Navi. I missed her when she left as well. (She’s underrated, in my opinion.) Link is supposed to be us, the player. That’s why he has no personality to speak of other than being awesome. We’re his personality. We fill it in, like with every other silent protagonist in gaming. I’m a big Zelda fan and that’ll never change, I hope. I’m holding on to what makes me happy with my life. ^^’

I read a book (shoot, I completely forgot the name of the book though I haven't read it since Grade 6 XD) about one of the main character's living on the wheelchair (he wasn't always like this, he went into the car accident and it resulted as the accident crippled his leg). From the boy's experience; many people will give him a look of pity, being looked down on like he's handicap (he is, but he hated it, people start treated him like someone who couldn't handle himself (just because he loses his leg doesn't mean he's deaf or stupid. Like some talk to him in a slow pace (like "Hey...are....you okay?")), he used to be a professional basketball player but he restricted to enjoy them to his full potential now that he's on the wheelchair, etc. Because so many things that went down the hill, he shows some suicidal action sometime like his life doesn't matter anymore (he literally went up to the escalator with a wheelchair even though there's a good chance he'll hurt himself. However from this action, he's desperately wanted to do things like any normal people can. Why shouldn't he? When his friend show concerned, the wheelchair boy is like 'pfft, no big deal'. So yeah, being on the wheelchair (or any handicap) ain't fun at all.
Heh, I noticed all your character's name seem to be based on their colours (Sapphire --> blue Inkling. Amethyst --> purple Inkling. and Navy --> lol navy Inkling XD). Navy is a good prototype name, a colour that stand for "confidence". I haven't really play Splatoon only on the Gamepad (aside from Dojo lol), but doesn't look too fun either. XD You have to only look at the map, and your teammates/dots going around inking stuff. True, I forgot blind people can be "derpy".
Yeah, Malon sounds like a likely choice for this option. Link and Zelda aren't together long enough to fall in-love with each other. Plus even they did, Zelda will likely have royal duties to look after (especially when she became an adult again) so she can't always have time to be with Link. Different variations of Link doesn't always come through blood. Like if Link died in the final battle by Ganon in OoT, there shouldn't be anymore offsprings by Link. And yet...there's an reincarnation of Link from Link to the Past (unless again, Link already made love with Malon before the a battle with Ganon without our knowledge XD). I like Navi as well, I don't find her too annoying. But at least if it weren't for Navi's disappearance, Majora's Mask game wouldn't exist at all. ^^ That's so true, Link is "our link" to the world of The Legend of Zelda (or something like that). And that Link is our avatar too. If you have your Wii U back, you gotta play Zelda Breath of the Wild. It's REALLY difficult (or maybe I suck so much. I probably died like 50 times already because I never learned my lesson. XD), but it's really a good game. The game is trying to be realistic. ^^
Haha, do you have any tips how to play in Kelp Dome? It's my weakest stage to play in because at the centre, you are open to any attack and there are barely anyplace to hide. This happens a lot in Splat Zones. What weapon choice do you choose in Kelp Dome? Heh! IMAGINATION! XD
I'm at the part when the drunken guys entered the cafe, and tries to convince Sapphire to drink with them. But Acrylic stood up for her, even though he's the one who caused the fight. Despite that, I like his character. I'm glad Sapphire have one of the many people who really cares about her. I love villains that are "love to hate", there's always some part in literature we need to hate on, as long it is done right. XD

This is a prime example as to how long it can take to reply to comments here. I apologize, by the way. Thank you for the understanding. There are some yeah-bombers that “yeah” a post simply to be trollish, or to be self-centered themselves. I’m grateful that you are one of those [few] yeah-bombers that seek to give attention and recognition for others, and not yourself. A lot of people fall for the “clickbait,” however. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Miiverse. There’s no reason for me to be there anymore anyways. I’m done drawing there. I’ll stick to drawing for myself on paper, for now. Although, I’ll gladly draw for others, when and if they wish it.
Then I kind of feel like that kid in that car accident. People think I can’t, well, think for myself anymore. Just because certain traumatic experiences happened, they treat me like somebody who needs pity, sympathy, everyday of their lives. I simply despise it. Anyway, I wish to read this book. That was my idea from the start. I figured, since the Splatoon universe is revolved around the color of one’s ink, I can name my own characters after colors, and even gemstones. I even have characters named Emerald and Persimmon. Navy does mean “confidence,” that was also the idea. Playing with only the gamepad is definitely challenging, and yeah, it’s not very fun either. I need the television to play competitively anyways. Favorite Avatar character? I’d have to say Katara. She just reminds me of some of my own characters, with the whole waterbending, healing abilities. Also, she’s very caring, like the mother figure of the group. And yet she took up bloodbending, a technique that she deemed immoral and cruel. That showed that she needed to take risks in order to protect both herself and her friends/family. Navy’s father was very disappointed with the fact that Navy made some really poor choices, despite the second fact that she was offered plenty of help. But after the accident, Navy never saw her father again.
The Link in Wind Waker was not a descendent of the Link in Ocarina of Time, because it was clearly stated so in the opening dialogue with the grandmother. So not all Links are directly related by blood. Still, the Link in Ocarina of Time needed to have had a child in order to have had the Link in Twilight Princess. Without Navi, we wouldn’t have a lot of things that we have now in the Zelda universe, like Z-targeting, Majora’s Mask, all the games that followed Majora’s Mask, etc. Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game that attempted to be realistic, but not everyone liked it. I sure did! It’s my favorite Zelda game next to Ocarina of Time. I’ll still wait until and if I get the Switch for Breath of the Wild.
Kelp Dome, huh? Okay, on Rainmaker, watch out for the right side of the stage, as your enemies can easily gain 60 or so distance from crossing that path. On the left side, watch out for chargers, as that’s any easy spot for them to camp and snipe you fast. Also on Rainmaker, if you see all of your teammates automatically heading to the middle, branch off to a different path, and don’t follow them. Surprise your enemies from the side, and make sure to find an opening once you reach the center. Use the center platform as cover, especially from chargers and Splatlings. Make sure not to accidentally corner yourself with that center platform as well, especially when you’re pinned up against short-ranged weapons, like Carbon Rollers or Luna Blasters. For Splat Zones, be evasive, learn to dodge well. Those open areas nearest the center make you especially vulnerable. Either use fast-fired weapons like Sploosh-o-matics or long-ranged weapons like Splatlings. Range is especially useful in the center of Kelp Dome. Dodge well, and have decent aim in that center. The weapon I use for Kelp Dome? Um, for Turf Wars, N-Zap ‘89. For Rainmaker, Octobrush. For Splat Zones, Wasabi Splattershot or Tri-Slosher. For Tower Control, Neo Sploosh-o-matic.
If you paid attention to the dialogue before that part with the drunken men, it’s hinted that Acrylic was once an enemy of Sapphire. He was originally assigned to kidnap her, which he did this one time. But after some convincing, Acrylic helped Sapphire escape her captivity. Now they are [uncertain] friends. I like Acrylic as well. He’s an Inkling-Octoling hybrid who is often misunderstood by both species. He doesn’t want to hurt people, but he sometimes gets too caught up in what he does that he thinks it’s “fascinating.”
Nah, I don’t swear out loud, still. Though I’m not pure, kind of the opposite, anyway. Hard to believe, I guess.

I finally remember the name of the book. ^_^ The book is called “Rebound” by Eric Walters. The writing there is easy to read (since I read it when I was Grade 6 lol), but I think you’ll enjoy them and relate somewhat to the boy on the wheelchair. Perhaps when things get better, I hope people will continue to treat you normally and no longer give you a look of pity.
That’s neat! Names that are named after gemstones and colors. My OC Garnet is also named after a red gem. OH! Did you know that when squid’s tentacles turned red, it’s an implication to show off their aggression behavior or a color to communicate that they want to mate. Indeed mother-like and quite caring. Once while she’ll never used bloodbending again, she does it anyway one time to one of the Fire Nation Raiders (or something) captain in search of her “mother’s where about” since she’s too caught up in revenge and hatred. The technique is cool, but very scary. Ouo Oh man, Navy’s father abandoned her so easily. That’s not a good father… ;_;

XD I often used close-up weapons (like Octobrush, Carbon Roller) for Splat Zones, so it make sense I get beaten up a lot. I think I’ll go .56 Gal so it has some good range.

Twilight Princess was an amazing game! I love the characters, how most of them develop over time. I love the atmosphere, how the dungeons are laid out. The setting are just gorgeous! There are such a variety of weapons and items. And that story...don’t get me started. Everything is absolutely...awesome. X3 I know the game has flaws in its gameplay and such, but regardless I love it. “Grim and serious” is my middle name. Well, actually, it’s Elizabeth, but you get the idea. XD
Be sneaky on any stage, any mode. XD A surprise attack can actually decide the first few moments of the match, and might give your team a crucial advantage, especially on Splat Zones. You want to hold that zone for as long as possible. That’s so much easier with your enemies out of the way. Yeah, I would highly recommend long/decently-ranged weapons for Kelp Dome, especially for the center area. No problem, always here to help, even for tips on two-year-old games. Xp
Oh, no, Acrylic did not join the Octarian side. For the record, Sapphire loves the Octarians, the Octolings in particular. She would have joined their side if she had not thought of what her aunt had once told her. Acrylic is the son of the leader of the clan known as the “Blotched Shadows.” This clan has dedicated themselves to serving and protecting ALL Octarians, despite the fact that their leader, Nightmare, is an Inkling. (An Inkling, from the ISF, killed his once Octoling “family,” made up of three Octolings who took him into their home when he was badly wounded. I have the story somewhere on Google Docs, heh. X’D) Sapphire does trust Acrylic. It’s honestly Acrylic who is uncertain around her. He’s worried he might revert to his old ways, and he doesn’t want to harm her again. He doesn’t appear in the roleplay you read for long, because he’s not the focus. Oh, what part are you on now?

I like when stories are “grim and serious” because it’ll add more depth to the characters and more realistic challenges to overcome. Midna has some really good character development in Twilight Princess. She starts off as bossy, selfish, and cold to Link, but she starts to care and grows as the game progresses. I’m sad she has to leave very end of the game, even though she has to. L

I can tell who’s trying to be genuine and who’s, well, not trying to be genuine. Let’s just say I’m more skeptical with people both online and off. ^^’ You did add me to the Wii U. Actually, we already did play together in Splatoon. Do you remember that one time when you were facing against someone called Angi? Well, I was that Angi. XD The Angi playing the N-Zap ‘85 on Blackbelly Skatepark and Flounder Heights. You were playing as Kichona, with her gear and Splattershot Jr.! X3 From what I observed then, you were really quick in your movements and you made excellent use of your Splat Bombs. You tried to get the splat on me multiple times, but I ended up escaping multiple times. You play decently well! XD Yeah, I still prefer drawing merely sketches, because of how long it takes for me to color digitally, bleh. Pencil sketches, mainly. (I hate using pens and/or markers, too messy for me. Though I think their fashion style was inspired by 90s clothing, because of how colorful and over the top everything is. XD I mean, yeah, Inklings do seem to get more aggressive the moment they have their specials on hold. Where the heck would this “wind” be coming from once they have their special ready? They must have the epic, deus-ex-machina powers shown in anime, if that’s the case. Xp I never noticed that about the shorts! Really? That’s an interesting detail. ^^ Ooo! Blood-ink bending! Now there’s an idea. Well, Inklings do seem to be made of ink, which explains why they dissolve the moment they touch water (because water is meant to wash away the ink). It would probably be cliche to make that character a villain. Hmm…thinking, thinking Oops, I’m getting all fan-girl again. X’3 Oh, Navy’s father died from post-polio syndrome, which is basically a type of paralysis and weakness in the muscles, and also somewhat poor eyesight. He was infected with polio in his youth, and survived, but post-polio syndrome is worse in terms of the effects (and it can come back even decades after surviving polio). It’s a miracle he even joined the military at all. But the older he got, the weaker he became. Thus, he had passed away shortly after Navy went blind after that accident.
Exactly the same reasons why I prefer grim and serious stories. The realism of it is astounding. I know! Midna actually develops as a character throughout the course of the game, which is more than what I can say for the other of Link’s companions. Her turning point, when she started to actually care, was when Zelda basically sacrificed her energy/life to save Midna’s life. Midna couldn’t believe how someone could be so selfless, and in turn she decided to actually help the Light World. At least we get to see her return in Hyrule Warriors..? Yay..? But it’s not canon to the Zelda lore, so...Doesn’t really count. X’D I was sad when she left as well. ;.;
I can imagine Sapphire wearing the Octoling armor, considering she would join them is she had the chance. Ooo! X3 (But I probably won’t draw that any time soon, bleh.) Acrylic is the only son Nightmare has, his only offspring. Nightmare married a young Octoling teenager, and therefore she had a premature birth to Acrylic. She died because of the premature birth, and Acrylic was born with one damaged eye. (And since Acrylic is an Inkling-Octoling hybrid, he has Inkling eyes and Octoling hair.) It’s funny, because Sapphire doesn’t normally cry, believe it or not, but I made her cry a lot in this roleplay, oops. Xp I guess it just gets to be too much for her to handle, I don’t know. Ignore meeee. X’3 She only really cares about her friends, so when one of them gets hurt by the people she hates the most, you can bet that she’ll get freakin’ pissed off/emotional. Oh, and Sapphire doesn’t mind killing if it means self-defense, so if one of her friends is killed right in front of her, and the murder is still there, you can also bet that she will probably, most likely, kill them. Xp Xana was part of the group that first rescued Sapphire from being experimented on by ISF. That group call themselves the “Defenders of Inkopolis.” And rightfully so, because they’ve saved Inkopolis more than once. X3 If you’re on that part, then you’re almost to the part in the Dark World, one of my favorite parts in the roleplay. XD My poor, smol child, she can never get a break! Sapphire: Small child? I’m twenty-five-years-old, in case you haven’t noticed. Xp

X'''D Well we always friend with strangers from the start, but eventually became good friends. I was a stranger but the more we talk we're no longer strangers. ^^ Just as long you don't reveal extremely personal stuff. Heh, it was you Angi that time when we playing Splatoon together for the first time. I wasn't sure at first because you were offline in Splatnet, but you have the Squid Hairclip and N-ZAP '85 like Sapphire does. Thanks! I feel like I played the Splattershot Jr. better than the Carbon Roller, but it is more suited in Turf War lol. I tried to keep my distance battling you since N-ZAP '85 have a bit more power and range than the Splattershot Jr. Splat Bombs are my second favourite sub, they're good to take out long-range opponents. ^_^ I feel like sketching traditional make drawing longer to process because digitally, you can take advantage of multiple art-layers to separate each subject. For example, when I drew the weapon on the second layer, I won't have to worry about editing or erasing on my character at the same time, being on the same layer. To me, it's a mess drawing everything on one layer. However, everyone have their preferences but it's my suggestion. Thanks for letting me know the name of your tablet, they look a bit hard to draw but I may get a hang of it with some practise. And thanks so much for drawing Kichona too! ^^

Ever since I watched the first trailer of Twilight Princess, Midna's character (and Link as a wolf) always intrigue me. I thought she was a boy at first to be honest (there wasn't any dialogue in that trailer to know her feminine, mischievous voice). Either way, she turned out to be my favourite character of the Zelda franchise. She is also the most useful companion like transporting you to any place you want, transform you to either human or wolf form, an-all-out-attack (spin attack) in wolf form, etc. Yeah at least we see Midna again in Hyrule Warrior, even it's un-canon. lol But it should because it would mess up the whole Zelda timeline.
