Goodbye Miiverse, I have a love-hate relationship with you. Thanks for banning me around the last days of Miiverse, ARGH! x''D Still have my back-up account to talk with friends there till the end, TAKE THAT!HOWEVER despite many flaws and how strict the administrators are; I met so many amazing people there. Artists or not, talented or not, popular or not; I love you all. Thank you so much for supporting me, and all the time we spend time together. While I don't have many friends in real life, you guys are really consider my TRUE friends. Always sitting alone eating lunch...but I never felt alone interacting with you guys. You guys made a massive difference to my life, and I become more interested in digital art more than ever. ^w^
I hope the remaining Miiverse friends will find me here, there are still so many who doesn't have either deviantArt/Tumblr/Twitter/Instagam/etc. I'll miss them greatly. Speaking of these social medias, have you guys seen the last hour on Miiverse? Despite the Miiverse Code of Conduct that we are not allow to share related info about other websites...literally everyone decides to ignore this and was like, "screw this, GOTTA POST MY SOCIAL MEDIAS INFORMATION SO THEY CAN FIND ME QUICK!" all over my Activity Feed. X''D

Miiverse was a neat idea that eventually morphed into a glorious place; one I was able to thrive in despite it's heavy handed moderators (I never once got banned; which seems like an accomplishment given how often it happen to others). It enhanced many of my gaming experiences, as well as providing the ability to easily discuss games with fellow Nintendo fans, something that never occurred during my school days. I was also able to start my Nanka's Pokémon Miiverse Adventure , actually learning to be somewhat competent at drawing and improving my on the fly writing skills within a limited amount of words. It truly was special, with the joy that community provided being sorely missed, particularly with my time on Switch.
I shouldn't comment just on Miiverse alone though, you've done a lovely drawing to commemorate it. The burnt edges of the paper background are a neat touch and look great against the black background, as well as the sad tone of the drawing. Your Inkling is nicely drawn with colour variation within her hair/tentacle and you've done an interesting compromise with her eyebrow. The tear marks the sad note of Miiverse closing, but that smile helps reflect the memories of good times had. A sweet and touching drawing!

Miiverse was an amazing community to unite so many passionate fans to share our common interests together in each specific games. I certainly couldn't relate my passions at school as well. ^^' I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for Miiverse. (Whoa! Impressive that you never got banned once! I was a rebellious one, particularly the time when Miiverse was about to shut down. I couldn't help but worried that I wouldn't see some of my friends again if there were no other ways to contact them outside Miiverse, lol.) Realizing this, I think most of us started drawing and even writing (though most in the form of roleplays due to limited amount of words) as our passionate hobby because of Miiverse. Hopefully when I have a bit more time, I can look into more of your Nanka character through stories and/or drawings you wish to tell. ^^ I looooooove Pokémon! >u0

I wasn't that active on Miiverse at all, but I'll miss seeing all the amazing people there.
Kichona's expression is pretty much how I feel; at least I know some of the people from there and keep up with them in the future...but it's still sad that it's gone. -cries-

It's a social media which you can only log onto if you have a Nintendo Wii U and/or 3DS. Miiverse is like a friendlier, Nintendo version of Twitter.
Since you meet many Splatoon friends, most have personal connection with it. Angi also used to be active in Miiverse too since she has Splatoon (it doesn't have to be just Splatoon, you can interact people there by the same interests like Animal Crossing New Leaf, Super Smash Bros, etc.).

Well, I waited until Miiverse finally ended to comment on this, and it's finally over, gone.
But in spite of my love-hate relationship with Miiverse, just like you, I am forever grateful for what the short-lived site has done in my life. I met the best people I know and nothing—not the strict administrators, not the constant bans, not even the trollish users—will ever change that. I hate that Miiverse was a crappy site, but I love (present tense) the people from that site. That includes my best one-sama right here! I may have left Miiverse months ahead of its official cancellation, but that wasn't because of my hatred for it. Rather, I left it to conserve my love of it. More specifically, to conserve the love I [have] for the people on Miiverse. For a while, Miiverse was my escape from the pressures of life in high school, but I believe it was a healthy escape. It couldn't have been all bad.
After all, I met you! Among so many others that I wish to name right here! But I won't.
So, thank you, Miiverse, for the laughs and the cries. I'll cherish them both, for now and always. ^^

I still can't believe Miiverse is gone, forever now. Try to refresh my Miiverse page and simply meet with the constant, hallow message; ERROR-! ...Oh wait, ah much better now. I have to wait for several minutes waiting for the proper message to pop up (like the link you provided). Now I'm glad to see Miiverse's farewell message whenever I try to visit there.
Splatoon and Miiverse, both combination really makes a positive change to our life. It's sad that most friends I may not interact anymore, but I'll always remember them and cherish these experience. Miiverse might be a better site if the administrators weren't so strict on everything, some even get falsely banned and that's not fair. I'm happy Miiverse helps you escape stresses and all the negative emotions you're feeling from school. You really needed it, and I'm glad it (and your Miiverse friends) did at that time.
AH, SAME HERE LITTLE SISTER~! I wouldn't have meet you Angi if it weren't for both Miiverse and Splatoon. I wish I've meet you earlier, so I can role-play with all of you guys and stuff. It look so fun role-playing with multiple people, I usually role-play with one person.

Awww, at least you have backup accounts to talk to people with. I never had the chance to talk to people on Miiverse but I heard that it was a fun experience. I an see the bittersweet emotion on Kichona's face. And are you trying out a new technique with the tentacles? It looks good and appears to textured look than the other drawings of her. Yeah, my back-up account survived till the end. It is a valuable experience, I met so many wonderful people there and at least I'm able to keep in touch with them even here. Without them...well...I'll defintely have less comments and deviantArt to me feels very empty without them.
Thank you! The coloring is a bit rush, but I like to play around with the colors. I used very light opacity on the pastel texturing for her hair. Thanks! I combined the design between her first Splatoon look, and Splatoon 2 re-design. idk why I did that, but why not? xD
