Just some ideas what my Inkling OC, Kichona, could look like in Splatoon 2. For now, it's only a prototype since we don't know what sort of gears they have in the game. Gotta let the imagination going~!Related content

Thank you~! I think now that she's grown up and grows to have a confident personality, she shows a bit of skin (sleeveless, and v-neck) to show some feminine appeal. ^^
It's still a prototype idea, but I really like this design so I most likely stick with the black sleeveless outfit. ouob

I've always liked characters getting re designs as they mature, whether that be an OC or an official character. I guess I see it as visual character development. Comparing what a character wore before vs what they wear currently.Β
I still like the idea of the hair color change and the collar removal you went for in your other pic.Β

This is so cool! Splatoon 2 Kichona is so awesome! (Funny because I planned on making a Splatoon 2 version of Satomi too but not changing her kinda like another outfit ^^)

Hands are definitely an artist's worst nightmare, depending on the person. Xp I'm still practicing, though I'll stick to headshots for now. Anything below the chest is difficult enough for me.

Nah, I don't plan to give Kichona a tragic backstory or anything horrible happen to her. XD But I can see why because of the mask. The mask thing is inspired by the drawing that Statisky drew Kichona for me. Since she wore the Gas Mask in Splatoon 1, I don't see why not give her a mask again for Splatoon 2. lol ^^
I think it was the fandom that got is into Splatoon. You got deep into Splatoon because of the Genocide Theory, thanks to the fandom. I got really into Splatoon because of fan arts by the fandom.

Heh, youβre right. I guess it really was the fandom. I mean, I like Splatoonβs competitiveness as much as the next hardcore gamer, but nothing beats Splatoonβs fan stories/theories for me. If it werenβt for that aspect of Splatoon, I wouldnβt be talking with you now! X3 I wouldnβt have met the people I know on Discord. Man, now that I think about it, Iβm really grateful that Splatoon exists.
