Honestly, Europe/Oceania and Japan had the right idea to use "To me!" instead. Much less ambiguous, and more clear.
I'm glad they'll also use it for Splatoon 2 worldwide.

That's so true, "C'mon" is too vague, and can really mean anything. But it's funny we can use them for many interpretation.

Sorry, I made a mistake. It's "Booyah!" and "This way!" in Splatoon 2. Not "To me!"
"C'mon!", "To me!", and "This way!" all have the same meaning, but during the days of region-locking and localization, I guess Nintendo of America should've thought more before using "C'mon!" in place of the Japanese translation.

I have a look of disbelief when Judd reveals that "C'mon" means "come here" or similar to that. North American version tries to go in a pun and fun way of speaking than blunt and direct words, but yeah in this situation, signal have to make sense immediately. XD

That was the thing. The Europe localization team tried to provide as best as possible to directly translate from the original Japanese version. The North American one, however, was more liberating in their translation. It's why North America got "hip" and "cool" teen talk, and an Australian urchin as opposed to near-proper English.
