This is a canon interaction between these two, they can be too cute to each other at this point.

So, In summary, Boba was still getting used to the oasis and felt a bit down. And padscha was literally first gem that approached her to ask about her discomfort and since then she tried to cheer her up, her first Doll resembling boba (Yeah, padscha's first doll was based on Boba). Padparadscha had three dolls made in that moment, one based Topaz, one based on Rosaline pearl, and the last one, being Boba's. Padscha was afraid the first performance of her would be bad or conflictive, so she wasn't able to use Topaz, and used Boba doll instead. but right before she was gonnna perform, they heard the music and all the performances stop, leaving lots of reactions from other gems outside.
