"How did i choose to not use my magic against anyone? It's.. rather a long long story, it'd probably bore you... It was all a few centuries ago, when some slender gem came out of her exit hole while i was traveling around the kindergarten..." Royal gulped before sitting to one side of the chair of the bar. "I used to be confident and brave, you know?... I traveled all around lothea, investigating everything that layed there, fighting the threats with my magic and gaining more and more knowledge. There was a forgotten place on this planet that i somehow could break in, and i started walking around when in not less of 5 minutes, i heard a heart-breaking screech, from the bottom of the forgotten kindergarten. I suddenly approached, thinking someone could be in trouble with a corrupted gem. When i arrived, back on the shadows i saw a terrifying sillhouette with tentacles, and..."
Lapis stopped for a second before continuing. "I fired. Right to the head of it... It was too late when i realized it was just a poor overcooked gem. The gem embraced me with its tentacles, i could tell it was trying to communicate with me, but all i could hear was the ceaseless screeching." Lapis covered her face with her hands, sobbing. "I took her to the nearest healer mage i could find and begged for them to heal her, telling them i was gonna do a favor in return... I felt so bad... i didn't mean to." She finally recovered before sighing. "Now i hesitate everytime i want to use my magic for fighting. That's the reason behind it all." She faked a small chuckle before standing up from the counter. "Anyway, have a nice day." She left 5 prism drops on it to pay for the drink, then opening the bar doors and vanishing out.

This was a small story for Hematite and Royal lapis lazuli, but mostly the spotlight was for Royal. Hope you liked it!
