I know, trust me, my group is centered around gemlings and such. This AU is a good one~.

There is however a secondary way for a gem to reproduce.

Through intimate gem contact. The two gems (does not matter the gender) must share a strong bond, perhaps also a loving kiss, once the connection is made, their gems start glowing, and when that is done, they need to touch gems. Specific gem data is stored into the Carrier's gemstone.

Much like pregnancy, the carrier will feel sick and such for the first few months, during late carrying, the gemstone itself will feel sore

And finally....When the geode reaches its due date, the carrier has to literally summon the Gem Egg.
