Garnet: Blazekin, tough fighter, and fast Espeon, can see opponent's next attack
Amethyst: Either Sabeleye, mischievous trickster, Granbull, cute but deadlly
Steven: Jigglypuff, dance and sings or Slurpuff, sweet as candy and fluffy, or Arcanine strength and loyaltyΒ

You just need singers, dancers, or defense masters for Steven
Fighters, future seers, and ones that represent love for Garnet
Beaty, elegance, analytical/smart and or swordsmanship for Pearl
Spooky, trickster, messy, and loves eating for Amethyst
And then smart and or really strong, in general for Peridot, not sure what else she would choose, I'm pretty sure cute wouldn't be one.
