Seems extremely ancient; a heavily manufactured, manipulated environment -- like some sort of industrial powerhouse built upon a planetary scale; and very clearly abandoned. What sort of life form -- what foreign intelligence -- lived and built this world? Very cool concept!

also is this on the lava planet you drew, perhaps? They do appear to be hot.

the cave opening on the left - it looks like the aliens may hve been huge, because the left part look liked a giant carnivore's upper jaw, while the right side looks like a defense mechanism, presumably on the back. Perhaps these were the other life forms formed by the supernova that we formed from that astronomers - and all of humanity - have been scouring the cosmos for for a VERY long time.

There appears to be a giant pincer and another head near where the group of people are standing, too. and the spiky rock structure looks like it may have had arms and leads to backwards horns, perhaps the back of the head?
