Description
These two guys stumble upon the great forgotten library. This insane library was built in the future to be the home of all the important liturature in the world, in case of an apocalypse, however nobody wanted to look after those books after a while, so the place was abandoned. Untill those guys found it!Those platforms you see where once floating elevators so people could get to the books on the top shelf. There are also some "corpses" of the librarian droids that where supposed to look after the books.
In a digital age, this place was the last sanctuary for all the great works in the world.
Let me know what you think!

Environment control systems are broken down? That’s pretty bad.

The world needs this. All of our art and history must be protected from governments who intend to perform historical negationism.

Very tomb-like. I like how that helps to drive the point. Although, if the lights are still working, why everything else isn't?

I will move in and give the books the love and attention they need. I'll just need to brush up on my droid repair skills.

I finished reading a novella last week, part of which took place in a library that was abandoned several thousand years before. As soon as I saw this, I thought "That's what it must have looked like." Very nice work. The shading really makes you think of all the dust and debris that would collect over that period of time.

Excellent work! It is a bit sad to see those book neglected and such, since I like to read but it is quite a realistic scene for a possible future

This is what art is about.
Skill, emotion, and bold ideas.
I love the story that goes with this, and the place does resonate that - I adore abandoned sites and derilict buildings; you can hear the ghosts of the past there.
The light in the backdrop radiates grandeur and loss perfectly.
Only one thing - think it be nice if one of the lads had a torch - just an idea.
Aside that, exceptional work

Thanks so much!!
Eh.. It took about 3 or 4 hours. But it has some 3D and photo's in it! much quicker then to draw it all out!

(I'm a noob, my art takes minimum 9 hours and up!)
I look at your AWESOME images to get inspired,
to draw my concept arts for my SciFi FPS game! ^_^)
(have no fears I do not steal anything,
I make everything by my own )
I do not know if you already know this tutorial,
but I found it very cool and usefull:

Just practise a lot! And watch a lot of tutorials! That one from feng zhu is great! U should try to make something in 3D too! (or are you already doing that?)
3D is really nice to get you perspective straight and to create some nice detail without you having to draw it!
Good luck with your game! Show me your images! maybe I can help!

OMG, OMG, Oh My God!!!!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
Before drawing digitally, I was only 3D MODELLING.
And scetching on paper! (none of them are on the net, yet)
I do 3D model on 3D Studio Max 9 and Blender,
then I put it into CryIngine2 or UnrealDevelopmentKit
and try it out! I wanted to install ZBrush in the summer-time => too lazy! xD
I WOULD BE SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU AS SUPPORT!!!
JOIN THE DEVELOPMENT (like two other PRO artists)
The story is ready, (just edits every time I have a good idea).
The characters are desighned on paper, but not digitalized,
that's what I wanted to learn on here and where I need help! ^_^)/)
I will message you when things are done/uploaded! :3
