Description The original piece of this work I gave to my ex when we were still together, later on, when we broke up, she told me she hd destroyed it. I guess the thaught of stuff from me hanging around in her place didn't appeal to her that much....
Anyway I wasn't that mad but nobody steals my ideas and if its unwanted then tell me so and give it back.... she didn't
I therefore smiled upon her acts and from the memory I still had, rebuilded the painting. The only thing I left out were the stars, since I saw them now as a reminder of her betrayal.

Yeah, X-wives / girlfriends can R E A L L Y suck ! ! !

Been there, done that, got the hyge-ass divorce file to prove it (672 pages made up of 106 motions and 83 hearings!). It was long, 4 1/2 years , and bloody...

Like the pic, and the composition. The lack of color is good to confer a sense of desolation, and the sharp contours suggest one about to go over an emotional cliff!

You've got my admiration-- I can't paint to save my life. I can't believe she would destroy you art... the repaint has it's one meaning. To bad we couldn't see the original, as well.

yeah well, it's pretty much the same at least in my memory, you have to believe in your own strength otherwise people just toss you like a rotten egg (that's just not me).
Thanks again, I really appreciate it

Wow, I love how abstract this is. The perspective is cool, and I just love the lack of color. The back-story is what makes it special though. Very cool.

yah I didn't think it would be the same picture without the story, thanx

What effects do you use??

tryingtothink In reply to earfight [2003-11-17 07:58:11 +0000 UTC]

It's a total genuin painting no effects, I just added an ugly frame and a title 'cause I wanted to post them but went out of time but the original piece is completely done by hand in acryl paint

cool looks like a sci-fi futuristic picture of the moon hehe. Interesting that you would choose to do it in b&w although it does work very well.

I doubt they have rivers on the moon but I've never been there so I wouldn't know right?
