My attempt at getting these guys down. Random comments scrawled all over because...I was bored. (This was mostly done during TBS's set at Project Revolution, and then I started writing stuff while I waited for MCR to go on.)

Things these guys like to wear/have with them that I have no idea how to draw: leather, fur, boots that aren't girl boots or Docs, pajamas, guns, toys, and goggles.

"Mello IS A BOY!!!" was written because my dad asked, "Why does she have a gun?" As much as I love Mello's leather getups, they don't do much to make him look like a guy. At his manliest, he's still gay beyond belief.

As for the boots, I'm not sure if I like pointy boots for Mello or not. 'Cause he wears both pointy and not-pointy in the series, so I can choose between the two. At the moment, I think I'm going with pointy, if only because they're more interesting. And I really want to make Matt wear Docs, because I know how to draw those, and because there's only two panels that show his boots in the manga, so it's hard to be canonically correct anyway.

Eee, Near is so tiny! But he's half a foot shorter than the other guys anyway (er, I think), so I guess he should look that small. He's the easiest to draw with ref, but the hardest to draw without it. For me, anyway. He looks at least five years older than I wanted him to (while Matt looks five years younger O__o). But I want to get him right, because he is pretty much the cutest thing ever. When he isn't being a psycho marshmallow, anyway.

All in all, I rather like the full-body Mello and Matt, but Near needs serious work, and non of the head shots are quite right. (M and M have enormous hair! I didn't notice it until I'd already scanned. >.< )

And please please gimme some constructive crits, 'cause I really want to get better at these guys.
