Description
Apophysis 2.04 betaCoincidentally posted an image that was freakishly similar to this for the Fractal Summer contest, you can see it here: [link] I rendered this yesterday before I saw that and couldn't believe my eyes when I did!
If anyone says "OMG u r a stealer!" or anything along those lines they will be slapped.

I'm glad you posted it: it is much more... Desktop-able than Faber's. And it's less... self-liking? no harm intended. I like this, it's got lots to see in it.

Is fractal are a style or a program, or the way the peice is made ? I really like this artwork and enjoy fractal artwork, but I don't know much about it, first time I heard of it ws when I joined DA.

Thanks! Fractal art is based on mathematical formulas and algorithms but you don't really need to know about any of that stuff to do it (it helps though). If you're interested this article explains it better than I can: [link]
There are a bunch of different programs you can use to make fractal art. I made this one with Apophysis, it's free and you can get the latest version at [link] . *ImagersFractalDDs has a pretty good collection of fractal tutorials and resources. I'm happy you like fractal art, it's a new form of art so it's not very familiar to most people yet.

That explains why I had such a deja vu feeling when I saw this. They are very similar. And amazing.

Very nice Trystian! I'm glad you posted it I find it amazing what beautiful and complex images can come from very simple parameters.

Thanks, I like seeing what can be done with simple parameters too. A lot of =Phraktalous 's work is like that, few transforms and mostly simple, but amazing.

Good work Trystian!
The real strange thing is that I also made something very similar a week and a half ago. It had a blue background with blue/yellow star shapes (instead of bubble like structures). The pattern is strikingly similar! Mine wasn't quite as clean design as yours though.

Thank you, I just thought it was weird that we both did them at almost exactly the same time... And ~JoelFaber and =Phraktalous have now both said they did similar flames recently but didn't post them.
