Description I plan to hollow it out and make it into a tower/fortress/macguffin! Truly I am a god among men!

Notice my sugar cane farm on the left. I have a sweet tooth, you see.

You can see the finish fortress thing in this video!

i had a similar map in one of my worlds, it was just a cliff, but not anymore, put my house/fort on there and built a water slide that works as defence, and diged all the way down to a massive cave.

Good stuff! I like the idea of adding to the natural shape of the structure without significantly changing it; it's still clearly the same mountain at the end of the day. I just think that's a fun concept.

well i did a bit of landscape modeling on my house, as i was unsatisfied by the fact taht creepers and monster could come and go as they liked. So i took away some dirt from some sides and placed in others, it is just recently that i added a roof to make my farm on, it is a small farm, but still good

Nice to hear. My mountain has an opening of sorts on the side not shown in the picture, and I think I'll keep it as a balcony of sorts.

A bit bigger, methinks. At any rate, my balcony seems to be working nicely enough.

In fact, as the description points out, I'm currently hollowing the thing out and making it into a fort, so there'll be a few pictures of that when it's done. Spare me your venom, wouldya?

yes, this has potential as an awesome base. i suggest MC-edit to speed up the hollowing process

Oh, I've never tried any other way of building things other than the traditional method. Doubtless MC-edit would make things far quicker, but I enjoy a challenge. I'm glad to see we can extend the olive branch, at any rate

Much obliged, but I'll be sticking to what I know for the forseeable future. I wish clay wasn't so damn hard to find, but ah well.

Now hang on there. Did I ever claim this was anything other than a nice-looking mountain I'd found? No? Then you're the "douche" for throwing accusations around. I just thought it was a pleasant view and decided to share it in the off chance anyone might care.
