It looks really good, but since you're asking for a critique (I won't bother with a big official one) I would say the only thing that really sticks out at me is the proportion of his head to the rest of the body. It should be bigger. I don't remember the exact proportion thing, but you can sort of measure it by looking at the hand. The hand should not be longer the head; when I measure mine by putting the bottom of my palm on my chin, my middle finger only reached up to the middle of my forehead, just past my eyebrows.
Otherwise, though, the lighting, the scars, and the detail in the muscles look amazing.

yeah, much improved from the first image - much fuller and there is depth to the background etc. The weapon is fantastic.
I would say that there is something up with the positioning of the head too - in fact, maybe the head is a little small for the body? Unless its deliberate of course.
Also, he seems very sad! Is it that he does not like slaying Mages?

Really nice work on the anatomy. The way the body is shaded is subtler than the previous version, and improved the overall image a lot. The however seems to be some issue with the head position/angle that makes it seem a bit awkward...
