It's always fun to see the artwork that's produced as a result of the movies and TV programs that we watch, and it was from the resent film, Total Recall, that deviantART member "Tsabo6" drew inspiration for his latest work that he calls "Total recall study". The picture shows one of the robotic security units that the government authorities use to help maintain their control of Earth's population, and even though it's only a study piece; I think the artist has done a very nice job with this picture. His robot looks so much like the ones from the film I'd almost think he just stepped off the movie screen. Although the picture might have been better if the artist had given it a sharper focus, I still think it turned out very well. And since this picture, as the artist claims, is only a study piece; hopefully he will do an even better version of it sometime in the future.

That's okay, it's still a pretty good picture.

Once again, Love it. You really are talented. I am a huge fan of art (digital or not) that involves "focus" effect. I'm pretty sure that's one reason I like your stuff so much.
Also, you typically handle really dark black the right way. A lot, but not too much, and just where it counts.
All of you art has that "pop" to it, when the darkest color meets the brightest. And the added "focus" effect really hammers it home.
I once tried drawing 3 stick men, angled from nearest to farthest, and tried to add focus to the middle one, and blurred/fade effect to the other two. The result was surprisingly fun to look at, considering they were stick men.
Keep it up Tsabo!
