Hmm. Not comfortable leaving a critique when I'm not sure the intent of the work, if that makes any sense.
First, I have no idea who/what a Mathron is, unless it's a typo for Matron.
Secondly, and more importantly, I therefore don't know whether this character is inted to be a/the Big Bad or a minor character, etc.
So instead I'll tell you what I see, and trust you to take it as one amateur's opinion that you can ignore.
To me, this character/monster is neither particularly bright (the vacant stare & blank face) nor particularly dangerous (slumped pose; neither threat display nor signs of serious rage), but you haven't exaggerated either its dumbness or its relative intertia to the point of parody, so this isn't intented to be a major joke character. So, without any context, I would this assume this is a secondary or tertiary character, probably one of several, and you either didn't care deeply how we reacted to it OR you don't want it to distract us from more important NPCs.
If that's all true, this is perfect. If not, please take this as one amateur's apologetic suggestion that you sharpen up whatever trait we should be seeing here.
And--look, I know that I crit more of your work than I do of most artists', whether they're good or bad. Which means you've probably got some idea of the sortsa things I react to, whether I'm right or wrong. So if you're tired of hearing from me, DO feel free to tell me to go away.
