A wonderful depiction, one of my favourite planets even if it is classed as a "dwarf", such a wonder how the two flip dance around it other, I too was very excited about the New Horizons mission!! Great job my friend!!!

Thank you sooo much !

I love all the planet of the solar system but my favorite are Mars and Venus. I have read so much lovely stories on it.

So what do you think of Pluto?  When I compare your image above to the new colorized images from New Horizons, you are really close!  I think you did better than some of the images from NASA actually.  I kind of think there was an impetus to make it look to much like a large-scale planet.  The title of dwarf planet is very appropriate for Pluto.

I'll be curious if they can see any hint of an atmosphere as the high resolution images come down over the next few weeks...

Nicely done!  I've been saving all the images I can find online which depicts Pluto because I'm curious if anyone actually gets close to the real thing.  You may just win my little contest actually.  I'm glad you didn't put in a hazy atmosphere or clouds like I often see.  I kind of think Pluto will be heavily cratered though, based on the low resolution images sent back so far.  It also looks like there is a single massive crater.  Just a few more days and we'll know for sure!

Thank you very much. I wanted to be as close as possible to reality.
So I made an atmosphere but a tiny one with very faint cloud, according to

I also am impatient to know !

I guess Pluto's atmosphere is much like Triton's.  It's there, but very very thin.  I know images of Triton show that it basically looks airless although there is enough nitrogen there to blow material from its ice geysers downwind.  I'm betting Pluto will be similar.  Some of the images made up by NASA really give it a thick hazy covering.  I'll be really shocked if I see that in the real images.  Place your bets!
