Guache painting done with some of the awesomest stock I've found here on DA from *Chonastock . The Woad series just wowed me (and made me want to buy some thrift-store belts to see if I could duplicate such a costume!)What's not to love about a hot Irish warrior woman in facepaint?

Thanks for sending through the link - I like this pose, I think it really works well in a painting - and the hair has turned out pretty cool!
p.s. thrift shops are definitely the way to go... you'll probably need a roll of leather strapping too, to add it all together, but if we'd bought everything new from a leather shop, it would have been expensive! Plus, the old, gnarly look of thrift shop stuff always adds to the character!

:3 Thanks a bunch Rams! For my AP portfolio this year we had to decide what our concentration was, and I assumed it'd be animals but I ended up drawing way more people than animals. Funny eh? XD
