Picked up a commission with Cass in it and it got the wheels turning. Pieced this from previous redesigns I’ve done in the past, streamlined her down to the basics and it turned into this.I’m not a believer in Cass with a cape and this version isn’t any different. I threw this up on my Tumblr acct and there were a couple of people who prefer Cass to have the cape because she's a Bat and everything. TRUE, but if you mix her in with Batman Inc. (where we LAST saw her prior to the Nu52) then five other "BAT" characters don't have capes either. Just sayin.
For me, Cass has to be lightning quick, and a cape on her doesn’t cut it. And I don’t have a problem at all arming her. Nope. In previous versions, I white’ed her eyes out to give a more haunting look, this time I went with a golden eye’d look. Just theatrics.

Mishandled for sure. Sometimes when I flip through old issues, its hard to remind myself that she's 17/18, because sometimes the art and story makes her seem younger.

this is easily 1200 times better than her current design in the comics with the huntress rip-off suit and goofy pointy mask.
this suit looks like it's a real batsuit, and it perfectly fits Cassandra's style.

I pondered to put more....'talons' on her fingers, but thought against it, since I did that with my Talon's redesigns

with Cass they would probably get in the way.
oh i just noticed, while the fingerless gloves are somewhat practical, there's always the chance she would leave behind fingerprints.

Well if memory serves, its not like Cass is in the system or anything. Born overseas, was a homeless drifter, and it wasn't like she owned her own place at anytime, it was all funded by Wayne or Babs. So people would have a fingerprint of.....no one.

I.....don't know. I know she quit for a while and became the leader of the League of Assassins, but later came back

i looked it up, she was an agent for Oracle during No Man's Land, but i couldn't find any info about whether or not she has a criminal record of any sort, and the League of Assassins is unlikely to have Finger-printed her

Love the design. I always thought having a cape would get in the way of fighting and maneuvering, regardless of the glide capabilities.

Exactly! It would be different if she used it like Bats did for effect, to fight with, etc, but she doesn't.

I'm a firm believer of the 3-color costume. You can have variety in those 3, but three should dominate a costume

When I had just white pupil-less eyes, I was thinking of the shark-effect of dead eyes coming at you. Now they're just gold, but still cold and lifeless
