Katana art. Yep, I think that does it for the Birds, no? I really struggled with Katana here on her design. She’s had practically every type of look to her. And personally, I like her all black look in the current Birds. I just think that sometimes, its TOO much black on a character. So just to break things up, I added a skirt which serves no purpose EXCEPT to break the black. Retooled some of the armor and moved the rising sun off of her mask and onto her chest piece, taking a little flavor from Batman and giving enemies something to attack. I also retooled her mask and gave some more red and giving it a haunting crying kabuki look. I think its effective, at least.
