Stephanie Brown as Robin. Its a redesign of a slightly older Steph, seasoned by the years being Robin. No longer the bundle of energy and youthful excitement of starting out and not knowing what to expect, Steph is now calculating, confident, efficient, more agile and an even better fighter. Grayson continues to mentor her in the ideals of the Bat and the balance of being your own person in that shadow of Bruce's.ETA

Jesus, this is amazing. I love how she looks mature and badass, but still ~Steph~. The details are so many, and it looks so ~real~. It should be canon. Let's all hope Steph will come back like this, so badass and amazing and ~Steph~.

So true! Honestly, I never put much stock in Steph...I don't read the core Bat books, just the fringes, but I put this up on my Tumblr acct, and its the highest hitting piece I've had all year! You know I hear all the 'waffling' talk about her, but it wasn't until I posted that did I become a believer. DC would be smart to bring her back in some sort of book and it would ease off a chunk of pressure. I mean I understand WHY they did it, but they could have left a door opened to handle it.

I like your design 10 times better than the original design

Well the original design....wasn't original. It was a girl's version, not a Female Version of Robin. This I pulled from various versions of Robin (including Carrie Kelly) and Nightwing. The idea is that she's refined her version from the past and through the mentoring of Nightwing she's come as close as the ideal 'Robin' that Dick was. She IS that line that keeps Bruce from losing himself to the darkness with the skills and abilities to be her own person and continues to learn from him.
It makes sense up in my brain!
Also, you shouldn't label yourself as Hobbyist General Artist....YOU my dear, are an AMAZING cosplayer with mad skillz. there I said it.
