how often you have heard or read "wow, aesome" - thats why i want to take some time to write you my ideas about this:
yes, it's awesome! the idea, the image, the meaning behind it and of course the way you did it. it's simple and simple brilliant - even or because you have done it in this "easy" way. it looks like everyone could do it - even if everyone know it's not that easy to do or repeat it. the idea behind this is that easy and powerful that everyone could and should get the point.
as a user and uploader of DA it firsts looks like an normal photo - 1 of millions every day - but it must be mindblowing to see this in "real-life". the second view brings up the message behind this...and this keeps looking me on your work for over 30 minutes.
thanks for sharing and the big inspiration.
if it would not be illegal (i tried it out) i would go out and "copy" that image to a wall near by.

Guys, to explain the possible reason why this person put "Sorry for the tree, we need more place." instead of putting "space." is due to the fact how they are showing how dumb we humans are. We're constantly cutting down trees, saying how they take up too much space and whatnot. But here's the think, tree's give up oxygen! Eventually, if we keep cutting down trees then we won't have enough oxygen and the human race will slowly die out. Eventually, there won't be any need for space anymore because we'll all be dead! So, I believe this person put "place" instead of "space" was to show how foolish we are.

The artist is French. They use the equivalent of the word "place" in their language where we would use the word "space", according to another deviant. It's just a translation error.

Me too. What I love is that he (or she, I'm not sure lol) previously had painted the entire tree standing up and then came back to "cut it down" for this deviation. You can sort of see where the tree was previously and the original is in his gallery somewhere.
