Description

Dust bunnies are small tiny creatures born from dust blobs that catch some ether in them. To most humans they seem to be simple dust blobs and thus humans are eager to throw them out, but that is a huge mistake. Dust bunnies possess a faint amount of prophetic ability - they are not able to tell what happens to themselves, but they sense what is about to happen to their homes.

Other astrals are inable to pass through dustbunnies, so in case a bad visitor is to come, all dust bunnies in the house climb on walls, windows, ceiling and don't let the harmful visitor in. Dust bunnies are also able to set themselves on fire - they will burn and die, if they do, but that can serve some use: If the house is meant to crumble, then a dust bunny can save the humans by forcing them to leave the house before danger happens via causing said fire.

Dust bunnies are herd creatures and they feel safest when they have a lot of other bunnies around. Humans tend to brush them out when cleaning, so bunnies need to breed to keep their numbers safe. Dust bunnies breed by plucking off pieces of another's fur with their mouths and combining that piece with their own fur. The little fuzz ball grows ears in a few days and after rolling around in regular dust found in said house, they open their eyes and become an adult dust bunny. Dust bunnies are able to make children even without a partner, but then it takes a whole week for the new bunny to grow ears.

If Dust bunny lives long enough, they evolve first into a chibi like small spirit with clothes made from fuzz, then gradually gain a more grown-up shape and elaborate clothing as they keep evolving.

Aheals can see Dust bunnies and tend to keep them as pets. Dust bunnies do often help keep the house cleaner by eating up the dust found in the said house, as regular dust is their food.
