Yeah. This is my current Pokemon team. But rather than rant about it in my journal, I decided to make a deviation about it. Yup. All meh stats are in the corner. Yeah. This is the longest it's ever taken me to get through the first to gyms, however, I think I also have more pokemon registered in my pokedex, as well as stronger pokemon than I usually have after the first two gym battles. I'm being good, and trying not to look up any plot info or cheats or walkthroughs or anything so it'll all be sorto of surprise and stuff. Yeah. But something I REALLY like about this game is that theres an in-game trade for Abra. I've never had the patience to train one during the actual game-play because all they know is stupid teleport. But, with the boosted trading exp, it's not as hard. And I also like that you can catch Ponyta so early on. Oh, and this is the first time that I haven't initially taken the fire starter...ever. So, that's pretty weird for me. Yeah. Really weird. And I'm not all uber attatched to my starter either. Piplup is cute...the evolutions aren't. But after struggling with PARC for a few weeks, I have a much greater respect for the fourth gen pokemon. Yep. Changing topics again, there was this really terrible time period in my game when I had like three "dead-weight" pokemon- Magikarp with only Splash, Ponyta without any fire moves, and Abra with, er, teleport. Yeah. They all evolved and stuff and now it's cool. Magikarp is the only one lagging behind...but I like Gyarados too much, even if it does have a double weakness to electricity. Speaking of Magikarp, her name came from the fact that I was trying to catch multiple 'karps this time so I could get a decent nature. Anyways, because I am oh-so-creative sometimes, I named them using French numbers in the order that they were caught. Doncha know that after all that, the one I had caught first had the best nature? Oi.
