Description
VENEZUELA 2009A busy crimson head emerges from an impossible green lushness on Los Llanos.
The Red-capped cardinal lives in lowlands of South and Middle America. Usually found in pairs or family groups, it forages around for insects, rice and fruit.
Two to tree eggs are laid in a shallow, open cup nest built of twigs and ferns.
