Do they mind there if you interact with them? Because I really want to be able to when I go but I know they don't really like it so much at SW, I didn't know if Marineland was different.
But anyways. 
This angle makes him look so big! Even when he tries to look scary, he's still cute. xD

I've never seen the trainers/guides have a problem with it, and they've seen me do it. The kids are very interactive, and the trainers don't seem to mind.

That's a really great thing to know. I used to interact with Finna and Bjossa a lot when they were still living at at the Vancouver Aquarium. I miss doing that, since I can't really at Sea World.
Orca's being amused by umbrellas is such a funny thing to think about.

Aww Finna and Bjossa, rest their souls. That must've be lovely. VA is such a nice place! Athena is really easy to get to interact, she'll look at anything once XD I suggest waiting until all the shows are done, when people start to leave and the pools close. Then the top is closed but you can still go to the underwater window, and that's the best time to interact cause you have them all to yourself

That's what I would do at VA, or go at the beginning of the day when it first opened because nobody was really there yet that early. I would just sit with them or interact. (:
Are just the pools closed or the entire outside area? And are they just closed when there are no shows going?

lol! No, around the time after the last show, they stop letting people go to the back pools and hang around. You're still allowed right at the front of the tank, usually. But no one ever realizes the bottom is still open

Nice rule of thirds and, like OrcaAmbition said, negative space. It isn't so bad to have negative space when it's blue. I think it helps. Nice shot and what a character! Umbrellas must be a hoot. *nods*
