You would have to ask that. I've been spelling its common name wrong, it should be Verdin. The latin name is Auriparus flaviceps. It is only about 11 cm in size, so its hard to see. I've learned to recognize its call so I can find it.

That's okay, we all make mistakes. I found at Google that this bird only lives in America. That's why I've never seen it before. Pity
