Description hmm.... old pic from NYC that I never uploaded. this is a piece of metal that they found EXACTLY LIKE THIS among the wreckage after 9/11. it still remains as a monument today at the center of Ground Zero, even as they are beginning to rebuild.

quote from the Quran (Islamic holy book): "For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken the fearsome eagle. The wrath of the eagle would be felt throughout the lands."

kinda ironic, dont ya think? Americas symbol has always been the eagle and we fought hard after september 11th

i got the quote from [link] 3:17

Yeah, I know DX that's one of the reasons why they hate us so much.

There's some deep truth in that. America was built by men of faith like George Washington. The terrorists want to wipe that out. But even though they can strike down our economy, take our lives, and crush our buildings, they can never destroy the cross.

Yes, I remember seeing this when I visited NY a few weeks ago. They have now moved it to another part but it still remains like that. It's amazing.

Ahh, but NYC... how I love it so. I wanna go back! *whines* I went there in '98... it was so much fun. I have pictures somewhere in my scrapbook of the towers... hrm... gotta look for 'em.

Anyway, 'tis an interesting picture and I'm glad you shared it. Makes you really think, ya know?

I took some nice pics of my own in NYC. But I dunno where they are now lol. I know what you mean, the tall buildings and the whole atmosphere is so damn claustrophobic, but I love the architecture! and the museums!!!! of course, I was there waaaaay before 9/11, I guess it must be very different now.

yeah that's most people's reaction nowadays, when you tell them that. we were leaving the city one day, stuck in downtown traffic of course, and my dad actually got in a friendly conversation w. the a black guy in the van next to us he was really funny and he helped us find where we needed to go, but yeah, ya should go back. its a completely changed atmosphere
