Mighty Woman is my first OC Superheroine. There seem to be few Chinese Superheroines in the English world, so it inspired me to create her. Thanks to akizz for the artist. The bio is my work.

Superheroine name: Mighty Woman (English translation), Qiángdà de nǚrén (Romanticized Chinese)

Height 5 foot, 3 inches as Bao Ying, 6 foot, 3 inches as Mighty Woman
Body Stats: 34B-28-29 as Bao Ying, 34D-27-35 as Mighty Woman
Origin: When a Nuclear Missile came to Shanghai, Bao developed superpowers. She became what she thought was China’s first Superheroine. She found out she could fly, had super strength and was nearly invulnerable. She flew the missile into space.

Since then she has found out that her mother is a Venusian advance scout (earth name Ju) that arrived to see if Humans could co-exist with Venusians. Ju is towards the end of a 40 year earth mission and is superhuman on both Venus and Earth. She is more powerful on Earth than Venus due to their being more Oxygen. She married Hu, a human scientist, who was afraid humanity would take an alien arrival and hid the fact from Bao. They still had Bao as part of the experiment. This led to Bao having superhuman powers. They develop around 25 earth years of age, which is about 40 Venus years of age.

Ju was the first Mighty Woman during the late 1980s, with even greater powers than Bao. She was the greatest heroine of the time. She was captured by the Chinese Government in 1989 and was experimented on for four years. She met Hu who would later go on to find the Chinese branch of Woodholme Institute to prevent such atrocities from happening again.

Powers: Super Strength of at least 65 tons, slowed aging process (looks to be 20 years old), flying at least 2,000 mph on earth and invulnerability (survived going 40 miles above earth surface And bullets), shapeshifting abilities such as changing her face to hide who she is and power blasts from her fists that can damage tanks.

Weaknesses:

Has a hard time activating Alter ego-She is only a few weeks as a Superheroine, so it takes a minute or so to activate Mighty Woman transformation. That can make her vulnerable if caught while transforming.

Inexperienced-she doesn’t have much experience with her powers. She is worried that she will kill someone if she goes full power. This may make her more likely to fall into traps.

Time limit: According to her mother, she has a time limit. Bao believes it’s no more than 3 hours due to the amount of energy used, but hasn’t needed her powers for that long yet.

Personality- Bao is a geek when she has free time. Her favorite movie is the Heroic Trio and reads The One Manhua along with American comics. Her lifelong dream was to become Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel. Her day job is as a programmer at Wandan Technologies. She is building a file to release about their activities if needed.

She is pretty quiet as Bao to keep suspicion away from her. Her biggest fear is becoming a science experiment or losing her family to the Prison Camps. She knows that the longer she tries to help her city the greater the chance of losing what freedom she has.

Allies: She has avoided help so far to avoid coming up on Chinese radar. The Chinese government believes a Japanese or Korean National is Mighty Woman. The Woodholme institute of Superhuman studies Chinese branch has been helping her in secret to adapt to her powers. They helped her with creating her costume, which was inspired partly by her mother’s outfit when she was Mighty Woman and inspired by the Chinese colors for good luck.

Basics of Earth-999: Superheroines She also is aware that females are the only ones who have successfully gained superpowers. If a man is exposed to superpowers, they die or become a monstrous being. She is aware of US heroines such as Incredible Bosom and Power Booty and has been invited to the Global League, but has turned it down to keep her powers secret.

Enemies

Yong Zhang-Head of Chinese Government Superwomen institute. He is a Colonial (Shang Xiao in Chinese) in the Chinese military and wants all Superheroines to be used as state weapons. Upon seeing Mighty Woman, he knows she would be a weapon that could be used to control China and considers her state property. He has Super powered women to try to capture her.

Mei Liu-She is President of Wandan Technologies and is China’s smartest/wealthiest person. Her inventions are known worldwide and have led to advancements such as cures for cancer, clean burning supersonic flight and under $50 computers that fit in a backpack. She wants Mighty Woman’s power to become the Chinese Premier and destroy her enemies.

Fang Lin/Monstress-She is a super powered woman who works at the Chinese Superwomen Institute. Having experimented on Bao’s mother Ju, she discovered Venusian DNA and along with nuclear energy experimented on herself. The results created a Jekyll/Hyde personality that has purple skin, insane spikes on her shoulders and the ability to destroy a plane. Whenever fear needs to be instilled in China or the world, the Monstress is unleashed on the world. She wants to be the only superwoman in the world.
