Name: Erinya Demidov
Gender: Female
Year: 1st Year
Suit: Pentacle
Arcana: Hanged Man (XII)
Persona: Take-Minakata
Rank: 1
Age: 14 yrs old
Weapon: Shashka (russian one handed sabre)

Nationality: Russian

Likes:
Cool weather and winters.
Long sleeved shirts and blouses.
Learning other languages and writings

Dislikes:
Hot weather, and especially wary around open flame
People who comment on her short height, especially for a russian
People who are always cheerful and headstrong

Personality:
Erinya is the cool and composed type. She's quick to anger when a sore spot is pushed (Her height, her father, her burns). She can be violent, but she doesn't let her temper get the better of her in a fight. Though not physically imposing, she's a quick thinker and always assesses a problem as thoroughly as possible before taking action.

She's not very social, but she does keep a few close friends. She tends to spend more time with her mother than anything else, though since coming to Higashimori, she's made an attempt to open up to others.

I guess you could consider her Kuudere

Strengths:
An excellent tactical thinker
her short stature and quick thinking make her good at sneaking around (or is that a bad point?)
She's well trained with her sword.
Speaks Russian, Japanese and English. Currently studying Latin in her free time.
Very independent and doesn't need help often.

Weaknesses:
Physically a wimp, especially without a weapon
She can only use her sword left handed
She's very much a hermit, which leaves her in trouble if she can't solve a problem by herself
Because of her accident, she is very scared of fire and sometimes reacts badly to open flame
Can't cook. Either her mom cooks, or she has to eat instant food.

History:
Erinya was originally born in Russia. Her mother was a teacher. Her father was a career military man, though he never rose high in the ranks. Regardless, he was content with his work, which led to him and his family moving from country to country when he was reassigned to different installations.

In his spare time, Erinya's father would train with his daughter. It was unorthodox, and certainly not how most would spend quality time with their children, but for Erinya it was great fun. Her father taught her a lot about his work in the military, and she developed an interest in war and tactics at a young age.

Once she was strong enough, Erinya started weapon training with her father. She was instilled with the belief that discipline, both mental and physical, were necessary things for a person to be happy. She was never great at swordplay, and she was always short and on the weak side. But she continued to enjoy reading of old battles, books of campaigns past.

Erinya was only 12 when she had her accident. Her father was home from duty, and it was a particularly cold winter. Even with central heating, the house was cold, and there were space heaters in several rooms. It was a faulty wire in one of these that started the fire.

Erinya's father died in the fire. Her mother suffered only mild burns and smoke inhalation, bit Erinya received serious burns along the length of her right arm and hand. She retained full use of her arm, though the scars are still large and unpleasant. She often wears a glove and long sleeved shirts to hide them from strangers.

Shortly after her father died, Erinya's mother began looking for better teaching work. She found an opportunity in japan, teaching English and Russian as a foreign language. It afforded a chance to make a better living for her daughter, and the two moved to Higashimori. Her mother commutes to a nearby town where she teaches class at a high school, as well as tutors privately. Erinya herself sometimes tutors foreign language study for some extra money, as she hates to see her mother working so hard to support the two of them.
