thank you! XD haha out of the 60 over pgs, only about half is inked, others are still in sketch form though ;;
did you draw manga before? will be most interested if you do!*w* your drawing style can surely create something different from all the mainstream mangas.

your welcome dear^^
well it's still awesome

awww~you're too kind

yea, last time was on 2004,2006 and last one is on 2009 i guess, sketch form only
i only manage to make as many as 16 pg only but the story is a disaster at that time,

i promise my self, until i'm okay with my stories and drawings, i'll do a manga again
but don't have time>.<
i just wish i can stay late at night again but it will effect badly with my emotions

16 pg is still a lot already^^ what did you sketch about?

can relate with that, went on hiatus for drawing and focus solely on story writing for 2 years. the ideas did come easier after that but somehow got so used to the language for novel writing, can't seem to revert back to creating simpler narrations and dialogues for manga neglecting art for the entire time was a bad idea too, considering it took another 1 year after that to return to normal quality...though it's a good thing, meaning that you have expectations and want only the best for you own work

will suggest you against staying up too. had to chase a deadline in form 4, slept +- 4 hours per day, was in such a zombie mode, had to isolate myself from friends as the tiredness kind of made me a 100 folds snappier

it's like a shoujo fantasy story regarding [link] my 1st ever OC with this guy [link] my 1st male OC, i got too carried away and yea, it's a disaster

you have an art-block?0.0
i think it's unique that way

yea, i understand that, i'm also having a very hard time to control my art quality cuz it changes everytime i draw,

so i try to draw as frequently as i can

wow, sounds like my college days
and it's really depressing that it effect my drawings so bad
and yea, i isolate myself too and easily to get irritated

i have a bit of anxiety disorder, just cured it early this year and i REALLY don't want it to come back again

but somehow, i will find time to draw and finish something slowly

oo shoujo fantasy 0.0 me likey ^^)b
agree, sometimes i let the OC play and joke around too much that it kind of divert from the original plot especially easy to happen in fantasy genre story where anything is possible.

something like that, just feel that the story is really no good and want to focus everything on getting used to writing stories^^

even if we draw 10 pieces of artworks exactly the same, there'll be parts where they look different from one another can't help it but yup, the more you draw, the better you'll get the hang of it

guess it happen to all of us then taking a deep breath will help somewhat or maybe you can try to draw the negative mood out? like make it into an artwork that aims to express and doesn't matter beautiful or not. ^^ it worked for me, might work for you too better to make anxiety into something you like, an artwork, instead of cooping it up inside.

rooting for you, Shiya-na-chan! you can do it! XD

true to that i guess
but that's the only time you can see them interacting, it kinda make you feel happy

ahh i see,the story just go as i go along

yea agree
my god i always told the same thing to my friends
yea i always draw it out and sometimes i like the feeling of being depress when drawing, it's like i can connect with my character more easily

awww~same here with me dear^^
let's do our best!

tsukiko-aizawa In reply to Shiya-na-chan [2013-06-21 09:17:47 +0000 UTC]

that's why right! XD it's like mother's perspective of looking at her own children playing together in harmony. seeing them interacting, kinda make you so happy that you can't bear to stop them ^^

usually just plan the beginning and the end while how the whole thing leads to the end is just going with the flow, see how the kids want it to go~ XD but sometimes it gets out of hand and the ending just change halfway too lol.

high five! ikr! when you draw it out, it's like the character can relate to your feelings and is trying to comfort you without words. the kind of magical bond can drive all those negative emotions away instantly XD

yes! we shall reach our goals!

true true
though sometimes even i can't control them, cuz some of them are quite naughty and like to bully other characters

KALDJKSLAJDKLASDKJLKASJDLA~
that's how i do it too!
i will always tend to get the beginning part and ending
i treat it more like putting a puzzle,
i will complete the border ones 1st then only slowly i complete on the middle ones

well my negative emotion is much worst
even they can't comfort much cuz it's something i must solve my self
but they are the 1st ones to know
so they meant a LOT to me

tsukiko-aizawa In reply to Shiya-na-chan [2013-06-27 11:38:15 +0000 UTC]

lol truer than truth XD

if you control them too much the whole thing just became lifeless but let them run wild and it goes out of hand somehow

that's the charm of writing your own story; you get the beginning and ending but how everything leads to the ending is a complete mystery even to us X)the fun part is always when another piece of puzzle pop up out of the blue.

that's true, in the end we'll have to sort it out ourselves though they'd definitely help out in calming our senses in a way to make the right decision

Shiya-na-chan In reply to tsukiko-aizawa [2013-07-13 16:09:34 +0000 UTC]

ahaha yup

that's why we need to keep on drawing them

for me, the idea for the story just pop up from no where
but i guess i already finish their stories in high school, it's still inside my head and what i need to do is just draw it out and improvise

do you write script and dialogue before drawing the manga?

i agree with that
let's keep on drawing then

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tsukiko-aizawa In reply to Shiya-na-chan [2013-07-17 11:23:35 +0000 UTC]

random ideas that pop out of nowhere can actually turn out to be major sometimes
that's why right? 0.0 it's quite easy to visualize the story in mind, you'd be able to finish the whole thing very quickly but to actually put them down on pen and paper, it takes years and still not finish still got a pile of unfinished stories though by right they're already done in form 2.

i do leave blanks and speech bubbles when planning the panels for the first time though the dialogue is pretty much non-existence, just rough ideas of what they might talk about without proper sentence and stuffs. only sit down and think about it after done with everything and reach the final stage of editing^^

we shall not stop drawing!

wanna see how it will turn out, sound so fun!

uuuuu~makes me wanna go to your room and check it out, sounds awesome i love other people works

hmmm if it were me maybe i do the dialogue straight away

you definitely should! XD the process of trying to come out with the plot is always fun, and when you're done with one page, the feeling of satisfaction is like falling in love (lol pardon me weird expression of that, but that's kind of the feeling i get everytime )

haha welcome! though my room's a maze of papers and books with only a tightrope size path to walk on XDD seeing the works of people you know always have a magical feeling of connection to it X3 hope to see your work too!

your's actually the correct procedure, just that i am on the lazy side to think when drafting

Shiya-na-chan In reply to tsukiko-aizawa [2013-07-22 09:31:38 +0000 UTC]

auuuu~that's soooo cute~

falling in love

i think when i finish a manga page last time i will blush and laugh

ahahaha, don't worry, you're no alone, my room's like that too

awwww~sure dear, i wanna see yours too

eeeeep~no la, i guess what makes you feel comfortable and easier to you is the most important thing in drawing^^

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tsukiko-aizawa In reply to Shiya-na-chan [2013-07-25 10:15:20 +0000 UTC]

you're not alone in that matter, i do that before too; blush, laugh while talking to myself and looking at the page for half and hour or longer after finishing the page XDD

conclusion: a messy room is an inspirational room lol.

will you upload it here?

true, doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you have fun doing it, the work will definitely turn out well

aaaaaa~i thought i'm the only one who tends to look at my artworks for hours when it's finished!!!!

conclusion:somewhat it is true but a messy room will attract so many mosquito and it pisses me off

eeeeeh? what? my room? o.o

agree with that
