The idea behind these is the more traumatic the past the more breaks/stitches/scars the heart has. The things binding the heart together now (the stitches/band-aids/ect.) represent how they’re new Nakama helped them heal from their pasts. Sorry for the sappy-ness I just thought it was a cool idea. (you can use these however you like but please do not remove my url from the bottom or signature from the top)
