Very nice work.
The landscape and colors are amazing and the tree fits very very well on the scene.
I just miss the tree shadow since the sun is behind it. Agree that its not easy but is possible with photoshop.

yeah I am actually not sure what happened, I had a version of this where I had the tree shadow in, as I remember it took me about 4 hours to get the process right, but for some reason I have lost the image and this one is the only one I got left

Sadly as it was just me messing around, I didnt have a better and larger image of the tree to use, I think the tree picture was only 1600 x 1200 big. Otherwise I would upload it as a print

Very interesting piece, Craig. I think this is the first time I have seen you put a tree in one of your scenes. Starting to break the mold? I especially like the sky and the water, but the mountains in the background are not up to your normal standards.

Heh, this was created almost a year ago now, so i have managed to come along way since then. I have wanted to do more of these types of images, but I have had issues recently with creating new work anyway... and as such, not created to much in the way of solo pieces

I would have to stretch the image, and without my own laptop, its impossible to do that with my larger copy of the image
