Description
War, as it turned out to be, was even worse then Eyrin had expected. He had imagined lots of terrible things, but nothing could have prepared him for the actual battlefield. Cries resounded through the air and the smell of blood was almost thick enough to taste, even from his place away from the fight. He winced at the sounds of fallen horses, both their own and the enemy's. It made him feel quite helpless. Another horse, who knew to be named Io and an exile, stood nearby and as a way to ease his nerves he spoke to her. "I had not expected this."

Io herself had been so focused on the cries carried on the wind from the battlefield. So much so that Eyrin's words almost didn't reach her ears. But suddenly they flicked towards him, followed her head seconds afterward. "Neither had I." Her voice was as spooky as it usually was. But her worry showed clearly in her pale blue eyes as her head turned back towards the distant sound of thundering hooves and angry screams. "I fear the outcome of this war..." She thought aloud, her ears flattening slightly.

Eryin, also turning his eyes back to the battlefield, couldn't help, but feel the same. "So do I," he stated grimly.

While his eyes tried to pierce through the dark, an especially loud scream filled the air. It sounded disturbingly close by. Flicking his ears in the noise's direction and scraping his hooves nervously over the ground, he hesitated a couple of seconds before coming to a decision. He could no longer just sand by. Setting off in the direction of the painful voice, he said softly to Io just as much as to himself. "But let's try and make the outcome favorable to us."

Unfortunately moonlightwalk and I didn't get to finish our short RP, but that's alright ^^
I must say, their colors really contrast with each other lol
And yes, Io got a new design. It's not entirely different, but I'm much more happy with this one. (i have yet to get my purchase for an Antiquated Mirror approved so please bare with me >.<)
