Through a collaborative effort, the hairpins were forged and polished until they held as much beauty as lethality. The three dancers fly through the air on wings of truth and certainty, protecting the Lady by slipping past the radar to stab those unaware of the thorns hidden among the flowers.

Accessories:
While there are many accessories to speak of, the weapon accessories will be the ones to take center stage.

Maurelia - The first hairpin. She is the simplest of the pins, but not lacking in refinement at all. Based on a morning glory, the pin’s blue tones bloom open and curl around delicately; the truth hidden in the petals until they are needed.

Rosette - The second pin. Sharp and soft all the same, she is based on a primrose. Her arms open to accept those who would seek comfort. Bright reds and pinks meld together with the gold and copper to create a fiery light when thrown.

Penelope - The third pin. The most intricate and delicate looking of the pins. She seems off balance, but the addition of another gem in the top circle help to keep her in tune and shine more. Due to the heavy nature of the peony based pin, it is held in hand by the wielder, but it is also the most durable. Making Penelope the first choice weapon to take a fight.

Personality:
Strong in mental ability, planning, and manipulating, but often hides that under an air of a typical noblewoman who cares for not but society of the elite. Tara believes it is best if others underestimate her, it makes the surprise even better. Her weakness lies in her stubbornness, which can make her blind to her actions and how they affect others.

Among her close friends, as few as those are, she is completely different. Her charm is more evident and Tara can be seen smiling sincerely, laughing along with jokes and dancing to the tune of life. She commands attention, but with the tenderness of a mother. Her friends are her family and she is more than happy to play the matriarch no matter the age gap.

Background:

Tara had originally lived in a fertile land with a warm climate with little change in season; the winters were warm and the summers hot. It was a land with few, each person knowing each other by first name and family names had no place since everyone was one family together.

She came to live in Viacci due to the arrival of one late Baron Viacci in her homeland. The man was a businessman who had aimed to expand what land he had control of to search for riches that the rich would pay even more for. Tara was a bargaining chip in order for the man to leave and to keep the land untouched by the greed of those across the vast expanse of space. The Baron married Tara for arm decoration and a tax break.

A year had passed and the woman learned the ways of the high class. If she ever went home, she would be unrecognizable by any of her family. The balls and galas had morphed Tara into the business woman she is today, making her learn of plans, connections and how all the lines must fall in order for the plans to execute properly, as well as the importance of image. It was dangerous to cross her.

Not long after the one year anniversary, the Baron was found dead. Doctors came and investigated, stating that the man had died in his sleep. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, no questions were asked. A funeral was held and forgotten.

Tara took over the Baron Viacci Manor. From the beginning, her acts were slightly peculiar. She sent every single servant away to work for other nobles. The only ones to visit her house were the shippers and traders for hire, food delivery personnel, and as of late, a woman blacksmith. Many thought it odd, but then they thought not. She was a young grieving wife and people had their own ways of coping.

Currently, Tara spends most of her time taking custom orders, having items made instead of found. She still continues to collect items for clients, but her focus has shifted to those more creative clients who would spend a bit more to have something made specifically for them. When she is not working, she can be found by the docks, seeming to look over who could benefit her the most with the way she carefully notes what each ship carries.

Purpose:
She sides with the Royalists to simply keep things running as smoothly as possible. Tara first wished to grow the business her late husband left, wanting to stand on his grave and say she was living better than he ever could. She realized there was no reason to fight with the dead, especially not over something that did not mean anything to her. The old clients knew the Baron to side with the Royalists and it was an alliance she would keep until it proved detrimental.

Despite this, she mingles with both sides. In the end, it does not matter to her. Evident clearly in the fact her best friend is on the opposing side, yet the two are as close as sisters.

Newly added now, she wants to keep her family as safe as possible.

Extras:
- Mentioning her late husband at all will usually bring an end to the conversation and/or you end up on her list of people to watch.
- She wears a blue glass bead on her forehead because it was a sign of beauty in her original home. She never wishes to forget where she came from despite not wanting to go back.
- The fascinator in her hair is made up of a simple clip created by her best friend and from a number of feathers from some of her pet birds.
- If you step on her dress, she will kick you. (Fair warning)
- She has a penchant for finding the odd or peculiar, but she thinks those things are more treasured than those that are more mass produced.
- She insists that trouble finds her. Others think the opposite is true.
- If anyone messes with her family, they are in a world of hurt. It doesn't matter what side of the war they are on.

Myrtle Andreson - Tara's business partner / travel buddy / best friend / sister / confidant / go to girl. They became BFFs after a trip during the Sorea festival and a few other things. I would elaborate, but it gets complicated. Tara also has all her hairpins made by Myrt now, along with anything else that could possibly be made in the blacksmith's workshop. Myrtle is also honorary auntie.

Rook Donovahn - A business associate when clients get a bit too particular, but willing enough to pay extra. Aside from that, Tara has joined Myrtle in teasing the poor guy.

Dock Worker who shall remain Unnamed as of now - Someone she met during her travels. Their chance meeting eventually turned into a beautiful relationship that gave her the family she always wanted and her little 3 year-old daughter.

little Fi - Tara's loving little girl. She is bright and cheery and generally gets everyone to smile and/or melt into a puddle of goo. She is always near her mother; if not, she is with her father or half sister. She is always carrying around an unusual teddy bear with an eye patch and bandaged arm.
