kerfluffles are a CLOSED species!! also this guide is a little outdated haha

here's a temporary guide (until i can learn to make a neat one)! i want to open MYOs soon (like, after today's auction finishes) and eventually do customs, so here's something that might help?

!ILLEGAL = only i (or a very select few people) can make kerfluffles with these traits. other illegal traits include mutations like wings, or horns that aren't horns (eg antennae and other things)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EXAMPLES ABOVE ARE NOT ALL THE TRAITS ARE LIMITED TO. for example, i listed some rare tails, but kerfluffles can have many MANY kinds. i don't want to restrict the species too much

here is some misc info:
- the name is a portmanteau of "kerfuffle" + "fluff". they're actually really pesky creatures capable of causing LOTS of damage to persons and property alike, and are almost always covered in very fluffy soft fur.
- fully-grown they are roughly as tall as a grown adult's kneecaps.
- they're quite rabbit-like with surprisingly powerful hind legs. a fierce kick could very well hurt a human.
- their eyes glow brightly in the dark and appear quite luminous during the day. dark coloured eyes are rare.
- "wild" kerfluffles have long horns and are always categorised as "uncommon". "domesticated" kerfluffles have their horns bred shortened/softened/cut off.
- even though they're quite dangerous, a lot of humans (esp upper class) have taken to keeping them as pets/things to show off. there are lots of efforts to breed them with intricate patterns and colours. since they're very vain creatures, this may be why breeding programs tend to be a success.
- they portray no sexual dimorphism and can be taken as genderless (eg a non-binary kerfluffle is a-ok !!), though you can of course assign genders to them as well.
- their tails are both flexible and strong, and are capable of hooking onto things (like branches) for climbing.
- despite their small mouths, their bite is very strong and they can digest anything. they have an venom that is acidic/corrosive.
- their eyesight and hearing are very strong, but their sense of smell is poor and they almost entirely lack taste, hence why they can eat anything without worry.
- they are incredibly territorial. they don't seek out fights, but their defensive techniques are similar to that of a honey badger's. they may team up with other kerfluffles for this purpose. (they tend to be territorial towards other creatures rather than their own kind)
- they are generally solitary, have small families, and leave the young on their own very early, but they are still capable of forming bonds. more than one kerfluffle child is very rare. this has since been amended - most kerfluffles are very social hahah
- their natural expression is pleasant/smiling.
- kerfluffles live in a world where magic is present and possible, but they themselves don't hold magic/are regarded "magical" creatures. amended - SOME kerfluffles are capable of doing small magical charms/illusions.
