Bored Tsu is bored.Been painting things, ya know, as a way to distract my mind from things.
Behold, I finally found a version of Opencanvas that is compatible with Windows 7, so I decided to teach myself how to make things look like they have been painted.
Here we have Blowhole, but The Little Mermaid version. Just tell me if it's worth finishing, I've been working on it on and off all morning, eh, maybe someone wants to see it finished. :/
Again I watch PoM as I draw PoM, someone get me to therapy, I am obsessed. :0

I vote you finish it. And not just because it was inspired by my story, I think it's coming out really, really good.

I am working on it still right now, I thought the starfish over the eye was fitting to replace his cybernetic eye(is cybernetic the right word? XD)though I think I am going to add more details to it, it seems a little plain to me. I spent so much time on his one eye, lol, I really wanted it to shine.
I know, it keeps making me think I am painting him wrong or something because his head isn't big enough. XD

Really? Thank you, it's actually been a lot of fun to just paint, not worrying about going over other colors or lineart, very liberating and stress relieving.

Yush. I always see other people making such awesome looking pics with it and I used to use it all the time before I got my new laptop, finally able to find a version that works for windows 7 so I thought I would give it a go again.
Really, whew, I spent so much time on the eye, I really wanted the shading to look, well, ya know, realistic. P:

I've stuck with Sai for the most part; I used to use Painter, and Photoshop before I got a new computer and PS and my tablet didn't want to work. :c Painter was okay, but my copy seemed to render lines all jagged, but they would look fine exported to PS and such. I tried OC, but I was never really able to paint with it as well as I would have liked. What's your secret? XD
It paid off! It looks fantastic! That was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the pic.

Getting new things seems to make things a lot more difficult doesn't it? X3 My secret, well, I go on youtube and just look at speed painting videos, I dunno why but it inspires me to try it myself. 8D
