OMG LOOK ARTWORK!This was a commission for someone on Gaia. Except that the girl who commissioned me hasn't been online since January. Oh well, I got the monies and Nadyris was a delicious man to draw. Yessss.

As for the shading and stuff I just use the airbrush... put each color on a separate layer (Although lately I've been doing each shade/highlight area on the same layer, like skin on the same layer, hair on the same layer, etc...)

Isn't putting them on the same layer kinda dangerous. What if you make a mistake a ways back that you can't go back far enough to fix?

For instance I mean on the picture or Moro I just did, the skin's shading and color is all on the same layer. Check out the tutorial I linked.
It's just areas of different shades and then smudged together. It works out really well, actually, even if you do mess up you just paint over it.
