Description OLD WORK
For Reference Only

Sorting through all my old files, I realised there is so much I haven't uploaded, so bare with me. These are OLD works, some 2+ years, some easily 5+ years old. @___@

This is one of the first ones I did of Shaelynn, in her first original coat, and to this day, one of my favourites of her outfits. Her right sleeve is short sleeved, her left long, as she is right handed and she started out with one long sword and one short sword, this allowed for slightly more freedom of movement with her main hand for quicker strikes.

This pattern of outfit continued throughout the entire campaign, as later, her left arm is covered in pauldron and metal bracer armour (something her husband gave her when it was continuously her left side that was struck in combat as she leads with that side), and her right arm is mostly bare save for glove and bracer.

This also shows her character at the beginning of the campaign with the way her clothes are, fully covered, and how her hair is flat and uncared for. As she opened up over the course of the campaign, it reflected in what she wore and how she presented herself (revealing more and flipping out her hair).

The Sword and Serpents to the right is a Family Crest symbolizing the "Eternal Warrior" handed down from her mother's (human daughter of Isis) side, and tattooed on the child when they are still young. All of Shaelynn's sisters bare the same tattoo on their left shoulder blades. Later, the mark would become the crest for their Pantheon "The Serpent Guard" and each family member would bare the symbol on their shoulder along with their own personalized Celtic Knotwork circle that represents the Sinclair (male) side of the family.

lol awww, thank you darlin'. I've been drawing pretty much everyday for the past 15 years now, and I'm still not fully happy with where I am, but that's just my opinion. Its all a matter of patience and practice. LOL you shoulda seen some of my earlier works, gods they're horrible! But I keep them around to remind myself of where I started.

Har I am pretty sure no one will get to the level where they are perfectly happy with their skills, I sure know I wont x3

but yah well I still got about 11 years to catch up then, maybe I can do it with that much time one day x3

This looks pretty kickass. Regardless of it being old work, it still looks great. I love the design, especially the coat details. Lovely work!

Yesh, I do love her coat! *____* So much so I pulled elements from it for her most recent "Ranger" outfit. I'm still trying to convince my friend to make me that coat! LOL

Ahhh, that is quite a logical set of gear for one with her fighting style to wield, though I'd have thought the decorative snake on the blade would get in the way... be a bit too broad.

Oh no, none of her swords have motif like that. If anything, they're only engraved on the tops her katana guards. She definitely prefers the more simplistic styles. lol If she ever did have that kind of sword it would soley be decorative to be worn when she's being "Formal", never used though.

LOL no worries. My writing and thinking process is still a little skewed from the graveyards so I might not have been clear anyway.
