Description
Iran, officially the Confederation of Iranian States, is a union state in Central Asia that consists of 9 autonomous monarchies. Iran was formed in 1824 following the War of the Two Seas, where Persia and Afghanistan united so they could unite the Iranian race, whilst also giving autonomy to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Dagestan. In World War One, Iran fought on the side of the Berlin Accord, invading Russia and annexing the lands of Tajikistan. Iran would side with the Accord again in World War Two in response to the Kurdish uprising in Turkey. Following the victory of the Accord and its allies, Iran gained Kurdistan from Turkey and the Italian colony of Balochistan. Iran is considered a great power in world politics, with a large military and many oil reserves in the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf.
