Description
I'm from Argentina so I speak spanish. And sometimes some people leave me messages and I can't reply them because I can't understand what they say. And the problem is not my bad english, the problem is that they speak some invented language even when some of them are from English-speaking countries. So, if the most used language is the english, PLEASE speak/write it well and we will understand each other.

Orz.
I completely agree with your statement. I've picked up (Canadian) English really quickly as a second language and it surprises me how native speakers have no respect for proper punctuation, in the least! It bothers me how slang is the only version they are willing to write.
It baffled me how low their understanding was when they were needed to write properly and we had to edit each others writing in English classes.
It is also not hard at all to add capitals, commas, and periods, where they are needed. It also looks better and more intelligent if they are used. Raaah.
Great stamp!

Hahaha I agree, and it's worse because the english is more like a dialect than a language, I mean they do not even have punctuation signs like ´ or ¨ that we have in spanish! And even without them they can't write well in their own language .
Thanks a lot for the comment and for the fave (:

You're not alone. English is my native language, and I can barely understand what people are saying on the internet sometimes (even though I'm supposedly in the age group that uses "chat speak" all the time. I refuse to use it if only because it makes even the most intelligent person sound like an arrogant 12-year-old)
Not to mention the people who are ridiculous and can't spell or use proper grammar to save their lives. Seriously, we're learning this stuff from kindergarten all the way through to grade 12. It's not that hard! Just pay attention.

I do that all the time
Yeah, I know what you mean. I know people who's first language is not English, and I never ever would have guessed that English is a second (or third!) langauge for them, and then I read someone else's journal and I can't understand a word. It's pathetic.
