I'm from Argentina so I speak spanish. And sometimes some people leave me messages and I can't reply them because I can't understand what they say. And the problem is not my bad english, the problem is that they speak some invented language even when some of them are from English-speaking countries.So, if the most used language is the english, PLEASE speak/write it well and we will understand each other.

I'm decent enough in Spanish that I'd probably get the gist of what you were saying, but likely wouldn't be able to reply. That's always what gets me. I can usually understand most of what people are saying in Spanish or French (if it's typed, or they speak slowly), but I can't figure out how to say things myself.

That was my problem when I joined DeviantART 2 years ago. I know english since I was 4 years old, and I'm good at vocabulary, but when I had to express myself was difficult to me, and to reply any comment in the past I had to spend at least 10 minutes because I didn't want to seem like a 3 years old baby.
But now I can write faster and I can understand a person who speak it (with U.S. people it's difficult because they're not like the people from the UK. U.S. people talk so fast, like if the world will end tomorrow. And some of them seem to have a potatoe in their mouth ¬¬ ) But is still difficult to me expressing myself speaking in english. So, I understand you

Sometimes I wonder how my knowledge of English grammar can be better that that of a native English-speaker. But in some cases it is - f.e. I can distinguish there, their and they're quite easily while an english-speaking friend of mine keeps mixing them up. HUH?!?

Or they mix: your and you're. I mean, COME ON! Is basic grammar, I learned it in fourth grade and I'm not even in England or the U.S.

Hahaha, yeeah. I mean, sometimes it's not about write it well because it's prettier than writing like a chimpanzee, it's about DeviantART, that is a webpage with a lot of countries and languages and the only language we have for understanding between us is the English.
