Protect my emo child.Saihara is one of my fave characters tbh. I didn't like him at first but he got better. also in the english dub I wanted to die because he has the same voice as Leon and that is not what he sounded like in the japanese dub LMAO
(also leon was my fave DR 1 character so it was a little traumatizing to hear him explain all those trials hahahaha *cries*)
I did this painting a while ago and I really like how it turned out, but I haven't been able to recreate anything like this since so that sucks Lol Rip

Well, I technically haven't played it, but I watched a Let's Player go all the way through the game... I got quite a bit into before I decided to get into the series.
Usually I don't mind spoilers when I first get introduced into a series... the thing with me is that I gotta get interested before I get invested into it.
This applies to video games, anime, or any kind of media.
While I've technically seen both 2 and V3, I have not been spoiled on the first game (which I'm actually Let's Playing on my channel), Ultra Despair Girls, and the demo version of V3.
Plus, I usually don't mind spoilers anyways with any media. If it gets me interested, it's worth it.
I do find myself saying this a lot... I find that there's a big difference between watching it and playing it for yourself. (I'm playing Danganronpa 2 on my own, and I experienced that big time.)

I don't typically mind spoilers too much either, but given the type of game Dangan ronpa is, I personally would be very upset if I got spoiled so I'm always weary with this series aha
Going out of order that's kinda strange but hey you do you haha! I personally think the writing has improved throughout the games, so you might find the first to be a little luke warm now :^ ( I didn't get into any of the spin off games, because it wasn't really worth it to me.
I'd agree watching a game and playing it are very different! I have a close friend who watched a lets player do the first two games and because of that she didn't go through the game thinking about the solutions herself but rather just agreeing with the guy playing, it's much more fun on your own. I personally watched a play through without anyone talking or captions, and it was more enjoyable that way imo. Currently my friend bought v3 and is playing through it by herself and that's also different.
Don't worry about it! I'm quite the talkative person myself so I don't really mind long comments in fact I encourage them, but warning sometimes I disappear off the face of the planet in terms of replying to people because my schedule with college is a little hectic right now I wake up at 4 am and get home at 10 pm sometimes. Like I have enough time to upload but not the time to think of a proper response to people so sorry in advance if that happens!!

1: Celes my queen, Ishimaru, Makoto

overall I don't really dislike any of the characters besides Tenko and teruteru
I'm not a fan of sayaka, tsumugi or koizumi, but they don't particularly bother me!
Sorry I've got loads of homework (I'm in a graduate level art history class as an undergrad for whatever reason and I'm the world's slowest reader OTL) and even if I didn't my friend Hyde-arts streams on twitch on Saturday nights so that's where I'd be since I can't make his tuesday thursday streams anymore damn school schedule. Yeah, Teruteru is just out there... Mondo gave me troubles during streams since he swears.. a lot. I try to mute the mic every time.. but eh... I actually did like Leon's personality, as well as Gonta... there are not a lot of characters I particularly hate...
Though sometimes, I'm just have to say to certain ones: "Shut up!"... mostly to Angie, Nagito, or Byakuya... Kokichi would probably fit there too..

TeruTeru is the worst kind of person objectifying women attempting to use his mom as an excuse for murder effectively judging specific lives as more important than others and then trying to get people to side with him because he didn't even have the balls to own up to what he did. I actually hate him
Does cussing offend you? If so I'm probably not a person you're gonna want to talk to. I typically have a pretty vulgar vernacular
Leon was my fave going into the game. but because he was killed off so early and got less screen time he became more irrelevant. if he had died just a little later he would have been my fave most likely. Gonta is a really average character as far as I'm concerned I feel unbelievably ambivalent about him.
Tenko was okay up until the point she was ready to kill everyone for himiko's sake in the second trial. The moment she owned up to that is the moment I hated her, there's a character in DR1 who does something similar except they slightly redeem themselves, although I'm still not fond of that character either.
I'm a thinker influenced heavily by feeling, so I tend to empathize with characters with strong value sets as long as they're logical or rational, so I really am not bothered by angie nagito or byakuya, although Angie is probably the worst of them all since it's so baseless. at least she's consistent haha I don't know if you saw her text after the first trial, but she's like everyone's sad about Kaede, but everyone forgot about rantaro so I'm praying for Rantaro and it's really funny. I appreciate angie in a humorous light, but if she were a real person I'd probably break her kneecaps or smth lmao

Cussing I can usually take... just not when people say one every other second. It just bothered me on streams since I try to keep them kid friendly in that department. I watch a YouTuber that swears constantly, but it adds to his humor and his music keeps them few and far between. Summary is that I can take it, but not when used excessively. It's mostly in music where I don't like it necessarily.
People have their faves... and yeah, those characters did have their reasons, but when the main guy is trying to speak to prove a point or something like that and they just butt in... it's just... "Really?!"
Oh yeah... I remember that bit with Tenko. That was just harsh. I believe you're referring to Hina with that bit from the DR1? I actually just got done with that class trail in my let's play today.

Idk with a stream like dangan ronpa it's kind of not kid friendly to begin with so it seems a bit strange to me, but you're totally free to live however you want haha it's nice that people still care like that. god know that kids are exposed to shit like Logan paul these days jeez wish we could go back to like 2012 when seeing a singular butt was bad.
I don't like heavy cussing in music either unless the theme calls for it. like if your songs about how you climbed to mt everest and almost died 3 times and lost your best friend then go ahead, but if you're talking about a girl you like chill.
I mean people are just like that. Considering Togami's background I'd be disappointed if he didn't talk over a little shrimp like makoto. Given Komaeda's personality and talent complex I would also be disappointed if he didn't treat hajime that way after finding his file. I mean they're high schoolers it'd be weird if they weren't a little obnoxious and rude haha
