Here is a robot that gave HeroBot a real challenge. Steel Bot is capable of using magnetism to control all forms of metal, allowing him to craft simple scrap into devastating melee weapons. His body is culmination of metals including iron, steel, titanium, etc. his body is virtually indestructible. He appeared in the form of liquid metal from the sewers and started causing chaos. He sent cars and buses flying like they were mere toys, unleashed a flurry of spinning blades at people and brought down whole buildings with his spiked wrecking ball. HeroBot tried all he could to combat this menace, but couldn't even get near him do to the metal in his body, nearly being torn apart by him. Luckily Prof. Moon was able to put him back together and gave him an electromagnetic forcefield projector, this would counteract Steel Bot's magnetic powers. Herobot decided that he needed to use Steel Bot's element against him, so he lured him into a metal processing plant that had just got a fresh shipment of hydrochloric acid. He jury rigged the spray machine and used it to dose Steel Bot with so much hydrochloric acid that his body started to break down. After repairs and reformatting, HeroBot saw some constructive potential in Steel Bot now called Ripper after his sharp appearance. Ripper was given many jobs including sorting metals at the city dump/recycling plant and helping construction crews with heavy steel girders and metal pipes. Sometimes, he likes to take a stroll across the beach in search of small treasures buried in the sand, it helps keep the beach beautiful.
