Description
Here you see a collection of some of the most feared beings in all of Japan. These oni lead the fiercest armies of ninjas known as the Kurai Mono, soldiers and servants made out of pure shadow, each general controlling a different breed. It was only until a band of samurai warriors, aided by powerful wizards, stop them and trapped each general in a mask and scattered them to the furthest reaches of the world to never be reunited again. The generals are as follows:

Senshi: He is a skilled combatant with weapons and at hand-to-hand. He has command over the ninja clan, humanoid warriors with skills almost as good as his own. He was imprisoned in his mask after being struck with pure Japanese steel, specially forged for a samurai sword.

Hagane: He is one of the greatest swordsman ever known. He controls the sabre clan, hard-as-nails warriors with steely claws that can slice clean through anything. He was defeated by becoming incased in a cocoon of Japanese silk before being trapped in his mask.

Komori: A supreme aerial predator who strikes from above without being noticed. He commands the bat clan, winged warriors who dive bomb from out of the night sky onto their enemies. It was only when his wings were destroyed by Japanese rice was he trapped in his mask.

Yama: A massive and formidable mountain of muscle who can crush armies with his bare hands. He commands the sumo clan, titanic brutes that take and give heavy damage. It was only after he was bound in Japanese seaweed was he absorbed into his mask.

Akuma: Second in command to the king, a mighty and noble general who seeks victory above all things. His samurai clan and armored warriors, armed with shadow weapons and the skills to use them. After being caught in a whirlwind of Japanese cherry blossoms, he was trapped in his mask.

Tako: A slippery and sneaky fighter who attacks from both land and sea. His squid clan are flexible and stretchable, reaching out and thrashing enemies around or just squeezing them into pulp. Ironically, it was the tentacle of a Japanese octopus that trapped him in his mask.

Boruda: He is a fearsome fighter with an attitude to match. His crab clan are armed with pincers and pounders, one hand grabs and tears enemies while the other hand pummels them. He was dowsed with a potion made of Japanese monkey tears to weaken him into his mask.

Guragura: He is a mighty warrior with a massive hunger for battle. His clan of devourer ninjas consume anything in their path, the more they consume the bigger they become before dividing into more. His gluttony got the best of him after he consumed Japanese fish coated in potion that made him weak enough to be entrapped in his mask.

Kumo: A clever and tricky warrior who can go anywhere he wants. His spider clan are masters of 360 degree combat, attacking above, below, from the sides and even behind. Japanese maple leaves were the key to his mask imprisonment.

Okami: The greatest huntsman of all time, there is nothing he can't track and find. His beast clan are ferocious fighters with heightened hunting senses and armed in tooth and claw. It was only the use of Japanese lotus petals was the beast subdued into his mask.

Kusari: He is a fierce fighter who can move quickly on foot without a sound being made. His chain clan are skilled fighters who use their chain bodies to trap their enemies. It took Japanese crane feathers to cut his chains and trap him in his mask.

Ryuji: Lord of all Oni and king of all shadow. As king, he has command over all kinds of Kurai mono and generals. He was able to steal his mask before it could be used against him and hid it in the Shadow realm, a world where only darkness lives.

Legend says that should the spirits within the masks ever be released by joining them all in one place, they will summon enough Kurai Mono to coat the entire world in darkness. Should that ever happen the only way to stop it is to enter the shadow realm, retrieve the mask of Ryuji and use a spell that requires hair of Japanese samurai to place it on his face, trapping all the Kurai mono and oni generals in it forever.
