Description
On our recent little trip to Mexico Beach, FL, the sunsets really were not spectacular. Now, I will readily admit, my good Friend is far better than I at taking night shots, and long exposures. While I'm on that subject, about the highest praise I can give anyone, being an old Marine, is that I would allow this man to stand back to back with me, with an M-16 in their hands, and I wouldn't worry. I'd know, the only way my backside wasn't covered, was because he was dead. But I digress... John is better at this type of night shot than I am, but I figured I'd give it a go and see what I came up with... I shot this with dual Cokin ND Gradient filters, one of which John gifted to me.Related content

I particularly like the soft feel of this one, like the soft feeling of waking up slow when you don't have anything you need to do right away.

Woohoo! I think this is an amazingly well done shot, Bob Great soft post-sunset color and misty water like an alien seascape. You're much better at long exposures than you admit, my friend
You know what we should have done is found a person (preferably female and bikini clad) willing to just stand perfectly posed and still in frame to give a great silhouette. Maybe next time
I suggest we do that at PCB during spring break
Maybe do a kind of shot like that one you texted me on my cell phone

By the way--It would be my honor to take on the world with someone such as you--I feel the same
