Description I have noticed that nowadays many, if not the most, people are too busy, closeminded or just afraid to stop for a second and think about their own living. "What does a one person mean" or "why should I if the others aren't doing it either" are common excuses, it's easy to live in self-deception when there are so many people. But they should walk through the first door and open their minds - find out how they would really want to live their lives.

However, the even harder part is to live how you believe. It requires much willpower - more than I have - but I still feel it's the only right way. We shouldn't just complain about the current world's situation, but affect the only person we undeniably can affect, ourself.

I'm not trying to change the world with this, but if you can stop for a second and think of your life then my goal is achieved. Unless you were too busy to read this description of course.

At first I had difficulties in figuring a title for this photo, but after reading ~mayshing 's inspirating toughts about it, it all came clear to me - thank you.

Curves and cropping for both photos, frame, resizing and title all in PS7 - notice the right one's natural frame ^^

I'm sorry if you already saw the earlier submit, I had to fix a couple of things.

nice composition. Colors are very clean, and I love the natural lighting. Your description fit very well too, kind of adds an aura of mystery to your picture. Very creative

The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

~Robert Frost

this is true, it is important to affect yourself with your own beliefs before going out and trying to push them on everyone else...
maybe sometimes that is the easier thing to do...
i try hard to think about my way of life, perhaps i overthink it sometimes...but as much as i think, the actual acting out on it part is always hardest..

looks like your goal has been accomplished

Wonderful description and great concept. The picture could use just a little more even coloring/blending at the top where the 2 meet (looks like a line there), but it's still beautifully executed. Nice job!

And your comment about your unseen macros... boy do I ever understand.

^_^ I love how it turned out, the clearness and values of it...very beautiful, and I am glad you finally are able to pick a name for it. Nice name, and it's so nice to see a photo with thoughts about life involved in it.
