tl;dr version: This is one of the most miserable cartoons I've ever had the misfortune of watching, and why it's never in the conversation of "worst Nicktoons" is beyond me. For just about any other show I've seen, I can at least name one positive quality that they carry, and that goes for shows that I haven't scorecarded like Euphoria (does it really deserve a scorecard?)-- I have more good to say about them than I do with CatDog because everything about this fucking show is specifically geared to either piss me off or depress me.

The animation is trash especially compared to other cartoons airing at the same time, the characters are extremely unlikeable and annoying, the plots are either cliche or will abandon logic just for the sake of beating down on our titular characters, and I grew to understand this show's language of "comedy" as I progressed because the only joke to be found is that CatDog can never win. I do genuinely despise CatDog and consider it the worst cartoon I've scorecarded until this point-- it's irredeemable in every aspect besides a pittance of episodes I happened to like, and none of them are good enough to counter the cancer that the long-ass movie, Teeth for Two, or your average episode gave me.

If you want a season ranking, then ig: 2 > 3 > 1 > 4

but if you want me to rank the episodes I liked, then:

Cat Diggety Dog > Sumo Enchanted Evening > CatDog Catcher > Silents Please! > CatDog in Winslowland (i can see this one becoming the best one day, or it never will) > Fishing for Trouble > You're Fired > Dog Ate It > Kooky Prank Day
