Katy Perry references aside, it would seem that John and Dudley are up against a pretty tricky foe: a hot and cold otter known as Thermotter. He has powers over the temperature with one half controlling the heat, and the other half controlling the cold. So, yeah, he's not one to take lightly, it seems.

When redesigning Thermotter, I took inspiration from a villain from Marvel comics named Thermite, who could also control the temperature ( latest (294×331) (nocookie.net) ). Also, fun fact, there's a monster that's planned to appear in 's Super Animal Squadron series "Treasure Squadron: Pirateger" also called Thermotter. And, yes, both Thermotters were made by the same guy: Seriously, where does he come up with this stuff?
